I am building an indoor solarium for my house and after seeing a video with a unique window on one I decided to get this window opener to replicate it. Setup was very easy and it worked flawlessly right out of the box and works with both the remote and my phone. The only negative thing I can comment on, which I understand can be considered a safety feature, is that when you retract the opener it makes a constant loud beeping jingle which I would prefer to be able to turn off but that doesn't seem to be an option. Extending there is no noise other than the motor, but retracting it makes the beeping sound constantly. It's similar to the chimes that dryers make nowadays when they finish. So I do recommend this as a very neat way to open and close windows, especially if they are in hard to reach areas, just be aware of the sound as you'll probably not want this in a bedroom or somewhere where noise could be an issue.

My father has a gorgeous skylight in his house, the system he had in place quit working one day.
