Very sturdy and nice looking set. Great quality. But was huge pain to put together

I absolutely love everything about this drafting table. The instruction manual is easy to follow— this was my first time building something myself too without any help! It took me about 1 and a half to 2 days to put it together and it is very very stable. I love how versatile it is with the little side table, pencil holder and other things. I do wish the paint holder(?) at the bottom were a little closer but it’s okay! I really like the gorgeous brown wood design of the table tops and the red labeling that made it even easier to follow the manual. I also appreciate the big screw that allows you to lower and lift the table and tighten it — this table turned my plant room to an art room and I live for it. My mom always tries to get me to come out when I’m there for long periods but I just love it!! I’m going to get one for my dad’s house next so I can work there as well.

It was a perfect fit for my craft room. I like that it has an outlet to be able to plug things in. I love the storage space that it has. The feature that it can be a table or an easel, making it versicle is so nice.

The product arrived in a reasonable to short amount of time. The packaging exhibited some minor damage, and the tabletop had a few bumps and bruises, but not enough to consider a return. Assembly wasn't difficult for the average experienced "handyman", but close attention to parts orientation is a good idea. The exact amount of parts and two small tools were provided. The only other tool need for assembly was a Phillips screwdriver. "Easy to assemble" and overall rating are down a star or two because the left side height adjustment nut would not accept the height adjustment bolt/knob. I tried both bolt/knobs on right and left sides. Both with some care and precision would thread into the right side, and neither would thread into the welded nut on the left side. Not sure if the powder coating or welding deformed the thread on the left side, but I will attempt to rectify that with a tap. This isn't something that the average consumer should be required to consider in order to complete assembly. In general, an acceptable value for a casual sketching or drafting table. I've seen others for a similar price from art supply dealers, but the cost of shipping by UPS was more than item itself.

Relatively easy to assemble, but it does take a while with all the parts. It needed two pairs of hands at different points, so just be aware of that. Otherwise, functionally, this desk is pretty ideal. There's a lip on the edge of the desk which can be positioned up or down, to prevent pens or brushes from rolling to their doom off of the edge of the table. Or, it can be lowered if the desk is laid flat and you have your wrists on the edge of the desk. There is a slideable side-board that can be pushed in if it isn't needed, extending the desk by another 15 or so inches. Storage on the right side is a pivoting wire mesh cup and a number of plastic cutouts for pretty much any hobby. Two drawers underneath add more storage space for flat items (paper, templates, miniature bases or glue tubes). All in all, while this won't win any awards for the best-built desk from quality materials - the design itself is solid, compact and really utilitarian and I couldn't quite find a craft desk which basically supports the five hobbies I am into currently and manages the resources for each in one desk.

I put this table together myself. Had one hickey up and that was getting to write direction installing top to bottom. The adjustment is so smooth and goes a lot straighter than my old one. Looking for a reasonable priced professional table this is it. We'll worth the price.

I think this table is perfect for my beginning start in watercolor and colored pencil drawing! Assembly was not difficult but directions could benefit from some "top/bottom", "left/right" directions on some steps. I referred back to the Amazon "finished" photo on occasion for help in those cases. My primary challenge was solo assembly as well as my age (68) and getting tired bending/contorting etc. I had no time frame so I did a step or two and then took a break for my back! So overall, it was an all day project but actual time I think 1.5-2 hours. I recently assembled a 150 plus pound Uplift desk which taught me a few ways to deal with the final steps of top into base. The table fits my space perfectly and the drawers allow me to store my most used supplies so I can start painting/drawing without much fuss - YEA. Oh ... I did NOT assemble the stool as I don't need it. Donated to thrift store :)

Got this for our 8 year old. I was worried it might be too high/tall or big, but it’s perfect. He sits and draws for hours. The table is adjustable so is actually the percent height. I saw from the reviews that the drawers were a mesh material so I’m glad I read that beforehand for the warning. They work pretty good for what it is. It’s got a lot of cool little compartments and the little pull out side table thing. It’s a great deal for what you get. I used to have a drafting table for drawing as an adult and it was literally just the table stand with a white top, basic. That’s it. So for this to basically be that with all the other stuff going on AND a chair, it’s a great deal. I probably paid the same amount for just the table alone without all the bells and whistles. It’s an awesome deal and a sturdy piece. I’d recommend it to any artist that needs a drawing space or for an older kid that has a drawing talent that can continue to use it as he/he grows older. Just move the notches up.

this table is just straight up cheap quality and VERY OVERPRICED for what it offers with such quality, some screws dont even work with each other and the tools they provide for you to build it aren't enough and the screw knob hole broke on me and now it's just unusable. I don't usually give reviews to items i bought but this is trash and i just had to give it the review. just buy a desk from a local shop instead of amazon.

Purchased the desk for my wife's birthday. It was easy to assemble and well made. She loves it. Only issue was delivery. Box looked like it had been thrown down a flight of stairs over and over again. One minor dent and small scratch. Amazed that was all the damage when looking at the condition of the box.

I personally like the table. The stool on the other hand, is crap as it wobbles - I got myself an actual chair.
