Great coverage of neck and upper back, also the clavicle area in front. Cold lasts beyond the 30 minutes, roughly an hour when I tested it, and that point it’s starting to warm up, still cool though. For reference on me I’ve had a 5-level c-spine fusion ant&post, RFAs and Cooliefs. It works! Bought 2!

This is a great product that has two Velcro straps to secure the heat pack. It took 1 minute x 3 times to warm up in my microwave.However, my problem is that my hands and shoulders are tight and painful when I wake up. So, unfortunately, this product is too heavy for my arthritic hands in the morning.I needed something lightweight. I compromised with a smaller heat pack. or an electric heat pad.

If you want this for your upper/mid back and shoulders, it works good. For your upper neck, it wont even make contact. That little flap that sticks up for the "neck" does not conform to the neck. You would have to lean up against something to force it to press on your neck. Other than that, I like that it covers a large portion of the upper back. It keeps cool long enough for my 20 minute icing. If you really need to ice your neck, you would do better with something that can wrap around the neck.

This a great product for the shoulders/upper back and lower neck like a champ. Great for shoulder and upper back swelling or as a treatment following surgery. Stays cold longer and is more comfortable than regular ice pack. No leaks after months of usage. Stores easily.

It's ok. The snap on it is garbage and it slides back away from your neck due to being so much heavier in the back. I'm going to remove the cheap plastic snap and add two metal snaps up higher so that it's fitted to my neck and won't slide back. Also, it doesn't stay cold for as long as id like. Even frozen solid I only get about 30 minutes out of it.

I dislocated my shoulder and after it was put back in place there was tremendous pain in the rotator cuff area muscularly. I ordered this and used it for 2 weeks twice or three times a day and it was perfect. I would recommend this for shoulder or neck cervical issues.

I returned a different type for this one .I love this one . It stays cold a long time because I keep it in the freezer all the time . I make sure I have a T shirt on as to not get a freezer burn on skin . a must .I do 20 min cold compress. 20 min warm , then 20 minutes cold again .it has helped .I love the strong velcro straps . stays in place nicely . I also love the high neck in the back

This gel pack holds cold for a long time. In that respect it's good for relieving pain.I bought it for my sore shoulders. I thought the black Velcro straps would help hold it in place but it fits so awkwardly no matter how I adjust it.In the end what works for me is I don't use the black straps. I simply put the gel pack on my shoulders, then I put on a tightly fitting jacket as an outer layer and it forces the ice pack to actually land correctly on top of my shoulders. (Which is the part I need the therapy for).
