This is a vertical iron and steamer. I gad just a steamer before. Now I can steam all the creases out and then add creases for the sleeves. Works very well and the bottle lasts 10-15 garments so way better than portable steamer.

I had a very poor experience with this ironing system. It started leaking hot water from inside the unit, which caused a minor burn to my foot. Even after emptying the tank, it continued to drip, making it unsafe to use, handle, or return. Customer service did engage and offered a partial refund without return, which I appreciated, but it was disappointing given the cost of the item and the fact it was intended as a Christmas gift. I would not recommend it based on safety concerns alone.

No temperature control, not super hot either! The small iron and small ironing table would be good for storing in small places except the base takes up room! Not sure who this is ideal for. Have returned mine. What a palaver trying to take it apart and fit into the box to return!

I was very excited to receive this Philips All in One Ironing Solution 6000 as I love ironing and currently have a Philips steam generator iron which is great. This comes very well packaged with minimum plastic and is reasonably easy to put together. The iron itself is very small and lightweight but extremely powerful and can also be used for steaming. The on/off button is on the base and there is a 1litre tank to fill for the steam. The board is able to be angled and folded upright for storage making this a very compact unit. I have given this 4 stars as the downside for me is that the ironing board is a little too small especially when doing larger items like shirts and duvets and I found myself getting in a tangle with the iron and board, hopefully the more I use it the easier it will be!

We have now had two of these delivered and both are missing the same part. Photos and instructions clearly show there should be a part for the iron holder to click into when the ironing board is horizontal, as you can see in the photos, there is something missing. This part is essential as this model iron needs the holder to sit in, and it cannot be used with the ironing board down in the regular position. I did try contacting Philips to see if I could have the missing part sent to me, but it is not available so the whole iron needs to be returned. If you do order this board, check under the large board part to see if the click piece is missing, luckily this is the first part you see when opening the box... if it is missing then don't bother taking the rest out, as its a bugger to get back into the box afterwards!!!!

Its very basic , like other irons you cannot adjust antthing
