Great and Useful Product.
Always an easy way to complete income taxes. I have used it for several years. This year’s version was a little different but still very basic. And TURBOTAX has as assistant for help.

What a PITA
There's no more downloading TurboTax directly on Amazon now. You get to go to "InstallTurboTax.com" and download the software from there. I couldn't copy/paste the key code for some odd reason so it had to be entered manually. Then, Turbo Tax had all the wrong personal information for me. Wrong address, phone number and email address... Even though I use Turbo Tax every year. Buying Turbo Tax on Amazon was because it was so convenient and easy. This was just the opposite.

TURBOTAX Became overpriced and over-complicated years ago. Switched to free. Not going back.
This is one of my extremely rare negative reviews. I used TurboTax for years. I was a faithful repeat customer. The price kept going up, but the product wasn't getting any better; just more complicated. Then it started forcing me to "update" the program just to view older files that had already been submitted. Updates were taking 15 minutes - what were they actually doing, in the background? The spying became beyond reasonable and I believe it was them marketing me to financial products and companies. I switched last year to a FREE program - it was so much easier. What a relief. If someone could please tell me why our government thinks we should have to pay for help just to understand their overly-complicated tax codes, I would sure like to know.

Great tax program. Download was a bit treacherous. IRS excepted. Wating for my refund.

Easy Product Bad Precedent
Allowed me to get the taxes and completed and filed in less than an hour. Hate that the stranglehold this product has on tax return completion keeps the government from preparing basic returns itself.

It Works
I noticed some reviewers have difficulty with the download. Refresh your page on the Amazon digital download orders to see the authorization code, then follow the instructions to navigate to the Turbotax website to download the software. Not refreshing the page will show older orders, and you may download last year's software by mistake. Hope this helps!
