Nice pfsense appliance!
excellent product - runs pfsense fast and is quiet and fanless. network performance is on par. aws-ni crypto acceleration functions well. love the hdmi output for convenience. 4 ports is also a good number for a machine of this size and price. they use the igc driver which is stable and well supported.

Needs a lot of FreeBSD know-how, built like a tank.
Bear in mind, this device will not boot from USB. This is a good thing for a security appliance. This is a bad thing for a home lab where you want to run OPNsense and not PFsense. Itโs got a M.2 SSD SATAII drive you can mount in a USB enclosure on FreeBSD, so all hope is not lost. Very, very well made, WiFi ready, tho you have to install your own card and antennae.

Great for OpnSense firewall
Nicely packaged. Booted OpnSense from USB install stick and installed quickly and without any drama. It's been running for about 2 months and seems to have no trouble managing heat levels. Performance seems to be snappy at everything I'm asking it to do.

Great PFsense PC
Great unit. It set up great with PFsense. I have been running it on a network with 23 cameras sending data though the firewall since 2022. I have recommended it to many people.

Worked for four days
Worked fine for four days. Then just stopped responding one morning. It wouldn't even power off. After unplugging it to get it powered down, it then wouldn't power back on. Seems to have just totally bricked itself while ... sitting on a shelf doing very light routing work.

Great device
Comes with PFsense pre-installed, so you simply need to plug it in and go through the setup and you are ready to use it. Since it is based on an Intel processor you are not limited to just using PFsense - I was able to install another OS on to it easily and use it as a small desktop (or any other purpose you would like. Comes with 8GB of ram but has room inside for another slot if you need. It also has a PCIE slot if you decide to add a graphics card, as well as a sata port for additional expansion. Very good device with lots of potential!

Beats an old router
This is a very nice little box. It boots PFsense fine and asks me to identify the WAN, LAN, and Optional interfaces. It will take me a bit to configure with managed switch, dual WAN, and load all the curated lists required to make it function as needed. It includes a sticker with the default IP user and pass, a warranty card, but no other documentation. No support website, just an email address. Not even a link to download current firmware. It must be requested by email. I dont really like random sellers to have my email address.

Solid pfSense router 2.5gbe
Came with preinstall pfsense easy to use and set up, solid cooling case for fanless deisgn and not get hot at all
