By far the best controller for PUBG Mobile (I've tried numerous competitors)
PROS:• Absolutely the most superior controller for PUBG Mobile (and I'm assuming any other game you intend to mimic touch controls with a physical controller).• Build quality of the controller itself is top tier, what you would expect from something in the class of the Xbox One Elite controllers.• Software is overall very functional and user friendly, but shows some room for improvement. I found it a plus that you could customize the color schemes, fading, transitions, and other effects.• Far superior to it's competitors like the Ipega PG-9118 in terms of durability and software.• The controller has a built in gyro which can be opted in to for when holding a specific key (say the L trigger while aiming), which would be very useful for games that don't have this feature built it, or phones without a gyroscope. When I experimented with it, it seems to not be as fluid as my phone's gyroscope but got the job done.CONS:• The software is a *little* janky. I will admit this complaint is a bit contrived, but I do think it needs to be mentioned because it's a slight annoyance. You cannot delete saved profiles, and the software is temperamental about which profile it loads when starting a game so you often find yourself having to re-load manually on the fly (I do now by default every time I start a game to avoid finding out too late that I have the wrong profile loaded). The regular controller mode (for games that support bluetooth controllers) requires a bizarre setup involving plugging an OEM flash drive into a wall outlet and then to your phone via specific steps. This is unintuitive and in contrast to how many things FlyDigi got right when many of their inferior competitors can automatically switch between simulated touch and regular Bluetooth controller with a simple switch or button. Furthermore, even after completing this unintuitive process once, I've found it is not permanent and seems to be required to be repeated every so often which will not always be possible say when travelling for example.• The mount is not solid and has noticeable shake. I say noticeable because I had several Ipega PG-9118s prior to the Apex, and their mounts are perfect. Again, it's surprising and in glaring contrast to how well they got everything else right. It's annoying to be aiming and using a gyroscope when you feel the phone jerk on the mount's fulcrum or worse, fall completely over. It's rare and I will admit it doesn't bother me at all anymore, but it took a few days of getting used to.Both of these cons are not nearly dealbreakers. However, if FlyDigi were to rectify these weaknesses, I'd say they'd become undethronable in their market.

FATAL FLAW....DO NOT BUY
This controller had a lot of nice features, good battery life, and seemingly affordable price for the value. However, it randomly FREEEZES on you and this garbage controller stops working while you are left to die in the game you're playing. Tough Fortnite match? Enjoy being motionless while your enemies pick you off. CoD Mobile? Yeah enjoy being unable to do ANYTHING while people take potshots at you. Several seconds later, the controller mocks you as it comes back to life. Oh, and it'll randomly press buttons for you too, giving away your location by firing your gun.Buy an official Xbox controller, ignore this Chinese trash.

Absolutely the Best Mobile Gaming Controller- Must read review.
I love this controller. I use it exclusively when I play and live stream. I am so glad that I researched and decided to go with this controller. The build quality is outstanding! It is as good or better than XBox or PS controller. I use the Apex with my iPad Pro and it works flawlessly for any game I have tried so far.A huge reason why I went with this controller over others on the market was the fact that you download the button mapping app from the official App Store or the Google Play store, while many other brands need an app downloaded from some questionable websites. The app itself is a bit overwhelming at first because this controller can do so much. But, once you get the hang of it, it isn’t too bad at all.It also does not require you to run the app while using the controller. The software simulated screen touches, rather than other methods that can actually get you banned in some games. The software for the Apex is not detectable, since it doesn’t actually interact with the game app in anyway.A piece of advice I have for anyone looking for a controller, the price of this is 100% worth it. Stay away from controllers that require shady downloads or the use of 3rd party apps from things like Octopus. While they “may” work in some instances, they can also get you banned or require you to play on a bootleg version of the game.Feel free to check out my original unboxing and review on my YouTube Channel.xCHIEFx Gaming
