Much better than I expected! At this price point I just purchased the item for a single use in a job that required two indicators. It worked perfectly and now I am catching myself using this one in the place of my "good" indicator. On top of everything - it is nice to look at. The little base is just a beauty.

What is there to say. It works just fine and seems to be good quality.

I knew pretty much exactly what I would get with this kit. A respectable indicator and a garbage stand/arm. Indicator isn’t silky smooth, but it works and reads accurately against my DRO over a full rotation. The stand/arms is of course junk. Primary issue is simply that the rod arms (which provide pressure to lock) are very poorly machined. Sharp edges, burrs, generally wrong geometry which also led to spherical ball joints being gouged up.If you are so inclined and have the tools, you can disassemble everything, polish up the ball joints, polish and smooth the retaining rings, cut appropriately radiused reliefs in the push rods and appropriate wedge angles, wax it all up and reassemble. Now my arms are silky smooth and lock solid. A couple hours of time to get this more like a $150 indicator set.

No complaints, AMAZING product for the price!

This dial indicator and magnetic base is great for the price and fits the need I have. If this is for everyday usage or if you need really reliable accuracy, you might rather go with a more recognized name, but for checking some basic runout measurements on occasion, this fits the bill at a bargain price. Also, when traveling, tools that don't break the bank are ideal for my needs, so this unit is exactly what I was looking for.

Great little dial indicator arm for mini lathe

This thing isn't really on par with the Mitatoyo original that was copied, but at 1/4 of the price with a mag base thrown in, it's a great deal & the quality is not bad. Even the strength of the tiny little mag base is good.

The media could not be loaded. Test indicator SUCKS!! It sticks and you cant use it at all!!! The mag base isnt that bad but if you tighten to tight the plastic knob will crack easily. I bought 2 mag bases and had to make my own knob out of metal by reverse engineering the original. I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH JUST HOW BAD THE TEST INDICATOR SUCKS , I MEAN IT IS USELESS BUT YOU CAN USE THE CASE TO PUT A GOOD ONE LIKE ACCUSIZE INSIDE THE CASE?
