I bought these after being extremely disappointed in the Apple AirPods Pro 3 whose fit (poor seal) and sound quality (too trebly, overcooked) are not for me. I had been curious about the Panasonic AZ100 for a while, and I should have trusted my gut because these are what earbuds should sound like . I been an owner of a Technics turntable from the 70's I inherited from my grandfather that still works, and I've been using high-end Panasonic cameras for the last decade. I had to get over my dependence on the Apple ecosystem and these buds function very well on iPhone as I've had no connectivity issues. The way these buds sit in your upper ear is way more comfortable and secure fit. The ANC feels nearly on par with Apple due to the better fit not leaking noise. It still has some areas where it could be better, but for earbuds this is sufficient. The sound quality is the real winner here, even with a flat EQ the range contains a nice balance of rich bass, clear mids, and appropriate treble. The easy to use app allows for multiple EQ customizations, and easy assignment of multi-tap functions. I found setting the volume down to double-tap on the left and volume up on the right to be a more efficient/reliable functionality than the slider bar haptic on the AirPods. Phone calls seems clear, will have to test more with the microphone in different environments. The case is nice and sturdy, also a nice compact size. Everything here feels like a quality build. And yes there is a charging cable included! Battery life is also very impressive, much longer than APP3 especially on the case. If your priority is sound quality and comfort then these earbuds are for you.

At first I was ultimately disappointed with the sound as the default DIRECT tuning to my ears was pretty awful. It was overly bassy and boomy....with veiled vocals and the highs lacked sparkle. Fortunately I came across the frequency response graph for these buds and made my own EQ accordingly. After my adjustments the AZ100 were transformed. The more I listened to them the more I grew to love the sound. They are indeed rich on bass, the speed, texture and nuances all come through deliciously. The vocals now have room to breathe...the sound exudes realism and it's utterly captivating. Treble is very detailed, well judged and just a joy, no harnesses to mention. I'm so chuffed at the way these buds reproduce instruments and vocals, they're utterly satisfying. Here's my EQ: - two - five Zero Zero + two + five + three + three They respond well to EQ adjustments... Give my EQ a try for a few days and see how you feel. I add an extra 2 decibels on the last 2 bass bands if I'm in the mood for more bass. In regards to the other key points.... ANC works great, transparency mode is also excellent. Mic quality is good for calls as is the noise suppression. Fit is great for me and occlusion is very minimal. The app customisation has to be commended as it's class leading. The case is small and slim, very pocketable. The AZ100 really have nailed most if not all aspects. Price is high but then so is the performance, so I don't think they're overpriced. One major downer for me is the low quality feel of the charging case. The plastic feels cheap and unsatisfactory and the magnets a little weak.

Es fängt schon mit der Auswahl der passenden Aufsätze an. Fünf verschiedene Größen stehen zur Auswahl! Da ist für jedes Ohr das richtige dabei! Nach etwa ein oder zwei Stunden Ein- bzw. Umgewöhnung (von meinen alten, auf dieses Modell), habe ich die Earbuds gar nicht mehr gespürt. Sie sitzen super bequem und sicher im Ohr. Ich habe noch nie In-Ears gehabt mit einem annähernd guten Tragekomfort. Das Klangerlebnis bei Musik ist grandios! Dabei ist das für mich gar nicht mal der Kaufgrund gewesen. Doch seit ich es ausprobiert habe, höre ich unheimlich gerne Musik mit den Earbuds. Hauptkaufgrund war für mich die Qualität beim Telefonieren und ANC. Ich telefoniere fast ausschließlich mit Kopfhörern. Doch alles, was ich bisher an kabellosen Modellen ausprobiert habe, hat mich nie zufrieden gestellt. Entweder zu viele Abbrüche, Verzerrungen, blecherner Klang vom Anrufer, blecherner Klang beim Angerufenen, Bedienung für den Eimer … die Liste ließe sich noch etwas weiterführen. Letztlich bin ich immer wieder bei meinen - ewig alten - kabelgebundenen In-Ears von Bose gelandet oder den mindestens genauso alten kabelgebundenen In-Ears von Apple. Bei diesen Earbuds nichts dergleichen! Nach etwas rumexperimentieren und dem Ratschlag des Herstellers (in der App zu finden) habe ich die perfekte Einstellung zum telefonieren gefunden. Keine Verbindungsabbrüche, Klang auf beiden Seiten super, Bedienung sowohl über App als auch an den Earbuds (man kann selber einstellen was der linke oder der rechte Bud machen soll beim antippen oder mehrmals antippen etc.) super einfach und bisher 100% zuverlässig. Dazu die Möglichkeit des aktiven oder passiven NC, Transparent-Modus oder Umgebungsgeräusche vom Anrufer (KI machts möglich - Modus ‚Voice Focus AI‘) wegzufiltern … alles klappt tadellos. Unsere Erfahrung mit Voice Focus AI ist bei diesen Earbuds grandios! Egal ob starker Wind, Autobahn/Straßengeräusche, Flughafen, Straßenbahn, selbst die Industrieanlage auf der mein Mann gewesen ist - ich hab den Modus aktiviert und konnte meinen Mann ohne die - teilweise extrem lauten - Hintergrundgeräusche ohne Verzerrungen, Aussetzer oder ähnliches glasklar verstehen. Die ersten Male telefonieren in dem Modus waren für mich so irritierend, dass ich bei kurzen Gesprächspausen nachgefragt habe, ob die Verbindung überhaupt noch besteht!! Etwas vergleichbares habe ich beim telefonieren noch nie erlebt! Ich habe die Earbuds meist gleichzeitig mit Tablett (zum arbeiten) und Smartphone verbunden. Am Tablett habe ich auch die Musik an, nicht am Smartphone. Bei eingehenden Anrufen am Smartphone klappt der Wechsel vom Tablett zum Smartphone, mit den empfohlenen Einstellung des Herstellers, problemlos. Auch der Wechsel zurück zum Tablett um wieder Musik zu hören nach Beendigung des Telefonats klappt bislang jedesmal auf Anhieb. Weiterer, sehr wichtiger Punkt ist für mich Aktive-NC. Zum einen verwende ich das gerne bei Migräne. Zum anderen reise ich beruflich sehr viel. Egal was um mich rum los ist, ich hab meine Ruhe und kann entweder arbeiten oder sogar schlafen ohne störenden Krach. Ich muss zugeben, das Aktive-NC von Bose ist unerreicht. Auch diese Earbuds kommen da, um einen Hauch, nicht ganz ran. Zumindest solange man bei Bose wenigstens ein bisschen Musik oder ähnliches laufen lässt. Will man nämlich einfach nur absolute Stille, dann haben alle meine Bose Kopfhörer (4 verschiedene Modelle unterschiedlicher Bauart) ein riesiges Manko: es ist immer ein megastörender Dauerton zu hören, fast wie ein Tinnitus. Und hier schlagen die Technics die Bose dann letztlich auch beim Aktive-NC!! Denn mit den EAH-AZ100 ist auch ohne Musik Ruhe. Kein Dauerton! Die grad noch so durchdringenden Außengeräusche sind tatsächlich zu vernachlässigen, da längst nicht so störend wie der nervige Dauerton. Damit ist auch beim ANC Technics der Gewinner! Den Dauerton gibt es dafür in der Einstellung ‚Umgebungsgeräusche‘ sowohl im ‚Transparent-Modus‘ als auch im ‚Aufmerksam-Modus‘ wenn man keine Musik hört. Nicht laut, aber doch deutlich wahrnehmbar. Im Transparent-Modus kann man über Regelung den Dauerton noch etwas ‚wegregeln‘. Im Transparent-Modus ist der Ton etwas höher als im Aufmerksam-Modus. Für mich nicht ganz so ausschlaggebend, zumal ich fasst ausschließlich den Transparent-Modus nutze und da über den Regler einen Weg gefunden habe, den Dauerton wegzuregeln. Das passt so schon. Vielleicht bekommt Technics das ja mal durch ein Software-Update in den Griff - sollte sowas technisch möglich sein. Da bin ich nicht genug im Thema um das beurteilen zu können. Es gibt für Musik die Möglichkeit verschiedene voreingestellte Klangprofile einzustellen, u. a. ist ein Klangprofil für Vocal (z. B. für Hörbücher, Podcasts), und eigene Klangprofile zu erstellen. Für mich, gerade beim Musik hören, ist der absolute super Hit ‚Dolby Atmos‘! Ein Hörgenuss ohne gleichen, bei klassischer Musik genauso wie bei Rock, Pop oder Jazz. Es ist, als sitzt man in jedem einzelnen Instrument und hört es von oben, unten, hinten, vorne, links und rechts. Gefühlt ist mein eingehüllt in die Musik. Ein wahnsinns Musikerlebnis welches ich so bisher noch nie mit irgendeiner Art von Kopfhörern hatte (und wir haben daheim schon einige Gute)! Das kannte ich bislang nur von unserer Anlage im Wohnzimmer. Noch etwas ganz banales: laden und Laufzeiten. Laden läuft super, auch auf MagSafe-Ladegeräten. Ich komme, selbst wenn ich viel telefoniere und viel Musik höre, etwa zwei Tage mit einer Ladung der Earbuds und des vollständig geladenen Aufbewahrungs- und Ladecase locker aus. Die Earbuds liegen dann über Nacht zum Laden im Case und sind morgens wieder voll und frisch und munter für neuen Hörgenuss. Ach ja, die App ist super! Kein Vergleich mit der anderer Hersteller. Tolle Möglichkeiten die In-Ears individuell anzupassen. Übersichtlich, gute Erklärungen in den Einstellung-Möglichkeiten, Möglichkeit die Earbuds zu suchen, es wurde eigentlich an alles gedacht. Zumindest vermisse ich nichts. Würde ich die EAH-AZ100 wieder hergeben? NIEMALS!!!!!! Würde ich die wieder kaufen? UND OB!!!! Die nächsten sind übrigens schon bestellt … werden ein Geschenk für meinen Mann!

Intanto una distinzione doverosa tra auricolari e gioielli tecnologici. Per tale ragione questi ultimi costano dieci volte più dei primi. Poi, avendo già deciso che i Technics EAH-AZ80 sono in definitiva i migliori se paragonati ai loro diretti competitors di fascia che posseggo (Sennheiser MTW4, Apple AirPods Pro 2 generazione, K-Array Duetto KD6BT, Jabra Elite 85t e Bose QC Ultra), in questa recensione mi soffermerò soprattutto sulla differenza tra gli AZ80 e questi nuovi Technics AZ100 e se valga la pena di fare l’upgrade di questi gioiellini della leggendaria marca che da oltre una decina d’anni appartiene alla nipponica Panasonic. Cominciamo dicendo che io ho acquistato gli AZ100 un mese dopo aver preso gli AZ80 con l’idea di fare il reso di quelli che mi avrebbero convinto meno…, ho deciso di tenerli entrambi! Il confronto: - Audio: Entrambi i modelli offrono audio di alta qualità, ma l'AZ100 supporta Dolby Atmos e audio spaziale (e si sente!), offrendo un'esperienza sonora più immersiva. Sarà per il driver a fluido magnetico, ma l’audio è veramente ECCEZIONALE!! Ovviamente parlo di qualità; se proprio volete spararvi musica con volume a manetta nelle orecchie, allora bastano anche degli auricolari da €40 tipo gli ottimi Sony WF510, per avere soddisfazione. - Cancellazione del rumore: l'AZ100 ha una modalità di cancellazione del rumore adattativa, che offre una cancellazione del rumore più naturale in vari ambienti rumorosi. C’è pure la possibilità di cancellare il rumore ambientale della persona con cui si sta parlando al telefono! La ricezione della propria voce, a detta dell’interlocutore, è perfetta. - Durata della batteria: l'AZ100 ha una durata della batteria più lunga rispetto agli AZ80, con 12 ore contro 7,5 ore, quasi il doppio! - Design: come si può vedere dalle foto, gli AZ100 (quelli neri) sono più piccoli e leggeri, rendendoli più comodi per un uso prolungato. Non facendo attività sportive non mi esprimo sulla loro tenuta, ma posso dire che mi devo sforzare per realizzare di averli indosso! Anche la custodia è più piccola. - Prezzo: gli AZ100 (€299) sono più costosi degli AZ80 (pagati €229), ma offrono funzionalità aggiuntive e miglioramenti significativi, addirittura nella stessa app dov, tra l’altro, appare un equalizzazione a sette bande e la possibilità di selezionare la lingua italiana nel ricevere i messaggi vocali di controllo. Rimangono la connessione triple point, l’integrazione con Alexa. Unico inconveniente: quando si settano le impostazioni per avere il miglior audio possibile, ne risente ovviamente il lato visivo ed è praticamente difficile vedersi un film o un video dal momento che il suono arriva fuori sincrono. Io però ho aggirato il problema dedicando l’uso degli AZ100 esclusivamente all’ascolto! In sintesi, se non aveste ancora dei gioielli per audiofili potreste comprare tranquillamente i Technics EAH-AZ100 perché sono senza dubbio i migliori in circolazione, e se invece avete già gli AZ80 allora cominciate a pensare subito all’upgrade!!

os Technics AZ100 llegan con dos bazas clave: una cancelación activa de ruido que compite de tú a tú con lo mejor del mercado y un modo transparencia excepcional, natural y usable en el día a día. Ambos apartados los colocan en el top 1–2 mundial. El sonido es equilibrado y de gran calidad: detalle, separación de instrumentos y un grave presente pero no invasivo. Quizá no tengan el carácter tan “emocionante” de unos OnePlus Buds Pro 3, pero transmiten precisión y limpieza, ideales para escuchar de todo con fidelidad. La construcción es sólida y el ajuste estable, aunque requieren colocación cuidadosa por su tamaño. Los controles son fiables, la aplicación es completa y la autonomía es suficiente para uso diario, aunque no sobresaliente frente a competidores. Donde realmente brillan es en el conjunto global: pocos auriculares logran un balance tan redondo entre sonido, ANC y transparencia. Pros: ANC de referencia, transparencia natural, sonido detallado y equilibrado, buena app. Contras: tamaño algo voluminoso; menos “divertidos” en perfil sonoro que otros modelos; autonomía correcta pero no líder. Conclusión: unos de los mejores TWS del mercado si valoras silencio real y una transparencia usable de verdad. Un producto maduro y redondo, con identidad propia.

Les + : - son de qualité après un coup d'égaliseur. Je n'utilise aucune paire d'écouteurs Bluetooth, aussi exceptionnels soient-ils sur le papier, sans appliquer une couche d'égaliseur par-dessus, et ceux-ci ne dérogent pas à la règle. J'utilise l'appli PowerAmp à cet effet, et après une petite heure j'ai trouvé des paramètres qui me ravissent. Je pointe cela du doigt car habituellement cela me prend plusieurs heures et c'est une source de grande frustration pour le perfectionniste que je suis. Contrairement à d'autres écouteurs irrattrapables malgré des heures de bidouillage, comme les Bose QC Ultra, ceux-ci ne demandent pas beaucoup d'efforts pour sonner juste à mes oreilles. - confort perfectible, mais plus que satisfaisant. J'ai de petites oreilles pour un homme, et je suis content de constater que je n'ai aucune difficulté à enfiler les écouteurs. Ils tiennent également bien dans mes oreilles, même dans mon oreille droite légèrement déformée à l'intérieur (de naissance) ce qui est un avantage non négligeable en comparaison avec mes petits chouchous les Sony WF-1000XM5, qui eux ont tendance à vouloir se faire la malle si j'ose ouvrir la bouche ou sourire... - qualité de fabrication au top, très bel aspect premium que ce soit les écouteurs ou le boîtier. Le boîtier a une allure métal brossé très élégante, et produit un "clap" très satisfaisant à la fermeture. Moi qui aime les beaux objets, je suis ravi. - 10 heures d'autonomie ?! 30 heures avec le boîtier ?! Dans de si petits écouteurs ?! Sans réel compromis sur le son ?! - l'appli est exceptionnelle ! On peut régler absolument tout, que ce soit le niveau de réduction de bruit, personnaliser les commandes tactiles de A à Z, ou même réduire le volume des notifications sonores. Il y a évidemment un égaliseur intégré mais j'avoue ne pas m'en servir puisque j'ai déjà PowerAmp à cet effet. - la réduction de bruit fait parfaitement l'affaire... Enfin... à peu près. J'avoue que plus le temps passe, plus je m'intéresse à la qualité audio même si c'est au détriment de la réduction de bruit. Ainsi, cela m'importe peu qu'elle ne soit pas parfaite, mais j'y reviendrais dans les points négatifs. - c'est difficile à décrire, mais malgré que ce soit des écouteurs, le son se rapprocherait presque du rendu qu'aurait un casque, d'une certaine façon...? Le son est percutant, voire un peu agressif mais sans que ce soit réellement désagréable. Les - : - une légère fatigue auditive après une heure ou deux, exactement ce que je ressens quand j'écoute de la musique avec un casque. - légère fatigue physique également. Les écouteurs sont géniaux pour leur tenue, mais ça implique évidemment qu'ils sont un peu plus intrusifs dans l'oreille. - bruit blanc perceptible avec la réduction de bruit active, sans que ce soit trop intrusif. En comparaison, mes XM5 sont parfaitement silencieux. - la réduction de bruit est vraiment loin d'être géniale. Dans le tramway ou dans la rue, j'entends plus ou moins tous les bruits aigus autour de moi. Hier soir, j'avais l'impression d'entendre d'un seul coup une cacophonie derrière moi, et j'ai finalement constaté qu'il s'agissait bêtement d'une femme qui triturait légèrement une bouteille en plastique...? Alors que de mon point de vue, on aurait imaginé qu'elle la torturait ! Bizarre et frustrant. CORRECTION : J'avais oublié à ce moment que j'avais règlé la réduction de bruit à 20% dans l'application, ce qui explique que j'entendais beaucoup plus de bruits autour de moi à l'extérieur... Maintenant que je l'ai remis à 100%, ça va beaucoup mieux. Toujours pas aussi efficace que les XM5 mais ça reste excellent ! - les écouteurs font un peu bling bling quand même, j'ai l'impression de porter des bijoux. J'aurais dû prendre les noirs !
