I started using this soap a few years ago. It’s the Persimmon that caught my eye here on Amazon. It’s not a fragrant soap but it does keep you from smelling. I’m 71. When LUME came out I gave it a try. This is so much better. Tonight I was watching Shark Tank and I said HEY, I use that soap! I didn’t finish my one bar of LUME. I went right back to Mirai. I won’t be changing again!

Seems to work well. Too expensive to use every day.

When your adult child who has no filter and tells you that you are starting to smell like an old person - you gotta do something, am I right?! I looked it up and sure enough it is a real thing - as you age your body is going through many changes - some good some not so good, and now us older people have to worry about smelling like our grandparents. I always thought it was the house, not them - guess I was wrong! Anyways, got me this bar of soap after researching - it was a "depression buy". It delivered fast and I was all too anxious and tired of smelling old so I jumped in the shower and lathered it up. It has a wonderful lather. I am not too fond of the smell but hey - better than smelling old, right? And better then smelling like a baby smothered in powder at my age. I wish I could describe the scent - it smells faintly of apricots. Maybe that is why I am not too keen on the fragrance. It's not bad - I just prefer a variety of fragrances based usually on seasons or mood.Well, my mood is I dont want to smell old! My kid without a filter has not reiterated the accusation of me smelling old and yes, I did ask her. She indicated that she had forgotten she even said anything and no longer detected "that odor". To clarify - this is not an odor of BO, this is a legit breakdown of your body chemistry as you reach a certain age group.Kids - dont tell your parents or grandparents they smell old! Get them one or two of these lovely bars of soap and rave at how well they refresh and moisturize the skin and will bring back a youthful glow. Your parents/grandparents will be better off for it. :)

It really works! My hubby was starting to smell like an old man, he showers everyday! I bought a bar of Mirai and what a surprise! The smell is gone. Just wish it was cheaper

It is way too expensive for size. It doesn’t smell bad when you use it. I didn’t seem to have any dryness. I would not buy it again. I don’t think because of the price. She needs to get the price down is extremely high and will not last very long. Update. I have used it for a few days and it extremely drys out my skin. It maybe stope smell but I think there are better or at least cheaper ones.

Overall I love this soap. A little drying nothing a little lotion couldn’t fix. Lathers well, cleans skin and gets rid of odors. This product is a bit pricey for the size.
