Two rings failed, but RingConn ultimately stood behind the product
I am revising my original review because RingConn ultimately provided me with a second replacement ring, even though my original warranty period had already expired. I purchased my RingConn in February 2025. Within the first year, the original ring developed a serious battery issue and would discharge within approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. After troubleshooting with RingConn support, they replaced it with a brand-new ring. Unfortunately, that replacement later developed essentially the same problem. Once removed from the charger, it would discharge within a few hours and die. At that point, I was understandably very frustrated. Two separate rings had failed, including the brand-new warranty replacement, and I no longer had much confidence in the hardware reliability. However, I want to give RingConn credit for how they ultimately handled it. Even though they initially told me the order was outside the refund period and warranty, after reviewing the repeated battery failure they agreed to send me another new replacement ring at no cost. So my experience has been mixed. When the product works, I genuinely like it. The app UI is excellent, the tracking and data are useful, and the overall functionality is very well designed. It is one of the better wearable experiences I have used from a software standpoint. My concern remains long-term hardware reliability. Having two rings develop similar battery failures is difficult to ignore. At the same time, RingConn did ultimately stand behind the product and replaced the second failed unit even though the original warranty had expired, which I think is worth acknowledging. I am now using the second replacement and will update this review again if anything changes. Excellent software and functionality. Questionable hardware reliability in my experience, but very good customer support in ultimately resolving the issue.

Love it way more than my Whoop
I switched from a Whoop, in part because it still wasn't totally comfortable sleeping with it on, and because the annual subscription was so expensive... I was originally waiting for the Ringconn Gen 3 to come out, but then I lost my Whoop charger on a plane, so I ended up grabbing the Gen 2... So happy I did! I may upgrade later, but honestly, the Ringconn Gen 2 is ticking all my boxes so far. It's super comfortable to wear, I normally wear it on my middle finger of my right hand (I'm left handed) but it also fits perfectly on my index finger, so I can switch it over if I get that soft soggy white ring rash, and just wear it for a few days on the other finger. The battery life is great, I just got into a routine of charging it on a Sunday afternoon while I'm chilling, and it only takes an hour or so to fully charge. It still has a few days charge left if I'm busy and don't get to do it on a Sunday, but I like the routine. I wear an Apple Watch Ultra for most of my fitness tracking, but the Rigconn actually picks up those short duration activities that the Apple Watch doesn't... spend 20-30 mins mixing and laying concrete or doing yard work, and Ringconn picks it up, while the Apple Watch typically won't. I also like that it's measuring the morning light exposure during the first hour after wake up... this one surprised me, but it's actually using it's sensors to detect the intensity and color of the light after you wake up... getting natural sunlight after you wake up helps depress melatonin production and improves wakefulness... it gives you a running measure of your wake up light exposure and differentiates between natural and artificial light! The app seems to be constantly improving. This was the one perceived weakness with Ringconn, but I can honestly say that I have seen clear signs that they are actively developing the app in the right direction, and also that they have been extremely responsive to user feedback... the responses to questions and feedback have been way more than canned or AI generated replies, they truly seem to welcome and respond to feedback. I love the no subscription model, and that they openly share data with Apple Health so it drives other apps as well if I want more specialized focus, but honestly, I think they are quietly building out their app in all the right areas, and I'm loving the platform. I have friends with other devices, and the Ringconn seems generally more compact and wearable than most I've seen. I'm so glad I switched, and I won't feel bad if I invest later in the Gen 3, but I don't feel like I'm missing anything now, so it will be because it offers something else I want, not because it fixes a gap in the current iteration!

I do NOT recommend for Sleep Apnea monitoring!
Update: I lowered to a 1 rating. Now the battery only last 2 days before it dies. I purchased this ring because of few things. 1st. I wanted a black ring to replace my lost wedding band. 2nd my wife recently said I appeared to stop breathing a few times while I was sleeping (more on that later). 3rd I've never liked wearing a watch and I'm tired of my apple watch which I only liked for the fitness aspects. After a lot of research, I decided on the RingConn GEN2. I liked the sizing of it, and it appeared to cover my needs. I was unhappy that the original version doesn't come in black. I recommend buying the sizing kit as there are no 1/2 sizing options. I'm happy with the sizing and I'm getting use to the wear of it because of the nubs (sensors) that stick out on the inside of the ring. This doesn't appear to be an issue for me so far. I have read that some people find it uncomfortable. I like the fit. Review: Now my big issue. I have 2 of them and they are both around accuracy. I don't expect perfection, but I have an issue with the sleep apnea results. I purchased this ring while I was waiting on my Dr's appointment for sleep apnea. I received my ring wore it a few days and then start the sleep apnea study. The RingConn results were "No Abnormalities (0.9) or NO instances of sleep apnea. I repeated this test a week later and got the same results, actually a little better. All is good right? Wrong! I completed my sleep study, and not only do I have sleep apnea I'm going back to conduct another study so I can be properly fitted for a CPAP and to determine the pressure my CPAP needs to be set at. This ring does not properly test for sleep apnea in my opinion, nor in my Dr's opinion. My next issue (based on the previous issue was accuracy. I was surprised to see that I was meeting my step goals somewhat regularly as monitored by the RingConn GEN 2 (I'm not as motivated as I like to think I am). I decided to wear my apple watch for a day and the RingConn GEN 2 to compare steps. What I have learned so far is the RingConn GEN 2 is over counting steps to the tune of about a 15-20% difference between the ring and my watch. I can live with that you just need to be aware that it might not be as accurate as you think. At least it's not for me. What I do like! I do believe the SP02, time asleep, heart rate, and relaxed time all appear to work well. I think the ring looks great. I love not having to buy a plan to have access to my data! That is a great plus. I will be keeping the ring; first because my wife likes me having a wedding band again :-) Happy wife...... and I do not like wearing a watch and this ring fits the bill good enough. I trust the RingConn will continue to update the software and maybe address these issues. Lastly, I'm disappointed that you can't buy the RingConn (original) in black. It only comes in silver and gold. I would have returned this one and bought the cheaper one if that were the case. I don't recommend people buy this ring for the sleep apnea feature. Considering everything else go for it.

Do it! You won’t regret it.
I wasn’t sure whether I was going to like wearing a Smart Ring, but I have found that I love it. It does take a few days of getting used to it on my finger. The insights provided are fantastic and without a subscription fee. Cost is reasonable for what you get. I had also looked at the Oura, but between the higher price and subscription fee, RingConn made even more sense. As an example, I knew that I probably wasn’t getting enough sleep and was slightly sleep deprived. RingConn shows me exactly how much sleep I’m getting each night, plus the quality of sleep. This incites me to go to bed a bit earlier and relax before I get to bed. I also like the other metrics, such as vitals and activity. The app is super easy to use and provides a lot of data without overwhelming me. I chose the Gen 2 over the Gen 3 because it’s smaller. I think that I wouldn’t have been as happy with the Gen 3 just because of the size, plus I don’t need the Gen 3 alerts.

Mostly happy.
I've used it for a couple of weeks and generally like it, it mostly does what I want. I think it is pretty accurate as to sleep apnea assessment (ahi tends to correspond with cpap machine). I like the fact that it will also show SpO2. For me, it overestimates my step count. I made two trips from my bedroom to my kitchen, and it recorded 150 steps. It also recorded 48 steps before I got out of bed. In some instances, I think it is counting my hand movement when keyboarding with steps. I have a step counter on my phone (always in my pocket and I historically think it is pretty accurate) and that tends to show about 2/3 of the steps the Ring does. I like the stress assessment. I like the HRV information. I like the sleep quality assessment. It has a decent charge life (for me that's running about 7 days). It's probably the best value for the money of the non-subscription rings, but it does have limitations (for me).

100% AMAZING!!!!! (Both Ring and Customer Service)
Have you ever had a problem with something you bought ONE MONTH after the warranty expired? Have you even been BLOWN AWAY by the Amazing Customer Service for the product when they say, "No problem, we'll send you a replacement." This is EXACTLY what RingConn did for me and I wish I could give them 10 stars instead of just 5. Let's face it, $300 (at the time) was very expensive for me but I suffer from Chronic Fatigue and I need to track how much I sleep in a day. RingConn (Gen 2) was the best I could find and I loved that they last for up to 12 days between charging. After 12 1/2 months of using the ring, I noticed that I had to charge it more often until it got so bad that it didn't last a full day after charging it to 100%. Needless to say, the battery was dying and these things happen so I'm not blaming this on the quality of their products. Because it was past the warranty, I didn't have much hope, but after a quick call to their Customer Service Department and a ticket sent to their support team, I received an email saying they would be happy to replace it for me. I love the ring and I think it's the best on the market (although they do have a newer Gen 3 model). The ring itself gets 5 stars and the Customer Service gets another 5 stars!

Battery performance tanked
The ring was great for the first year. I liked the performance, comfort, and app interface. Initially would stay charged for 12-14 days. Just after one year passed, the battery started draining within 2 days. 15 months since purchase, the ring needs to be charged every single day. It was a good product, but way too expensive to have to replace yearly. Would not recommend if you want something that actually lasts.

Love it! Size up!
Loving my ring! I ordered for my boyfriend and I and we received them in the next day. The packaging was original and as advertised. I usually wear a 6.5 in rings so I ordered up to a 7. My boyfriend I’d usually a 10 and ordered an 11. The ring seems snug at first but has turned out to be a great fit. I love everything about my ring. All of the features are awesome, especially the sleep apnea and pedometer. The app associated is easy to navigate! This even has cycle tracking and a baby prep option if you and your partner have that in mind. Most importantly it looks great!

So far so good
I have purchased this to track my sleep in a manner that is less intrusive than a watch which lights up brightly. While it does have little green and red lights it is no where near the brightness of a watch. I have yet to charge it since receiving it on Thursday, and according to the app it still has 3 days left.

Prodotto ottimo e affidabile
Arrivato in tempo record perfettamente imballato.
