The edges are sharp so wear gloves or be extra careful. I put in 5 of these and ended up with about 4 little cuts on my fingers and hands.For anyone wondering, these WILL work with the Commercial Electric cans. While the cans don't have the little holes that other cans do, they DO have a couple little holes up in the top, on either side of where the bulb screws in, and the spring's hooks on these trim pieces will hold onto those holes just fine.I'm still depressed that cheap stamped metal costs this much, but what can I do? They work fine and look fine. Nothing really special.

Here's the deal with these... Once they were up with new LED bulbs they looked great and were an inexpensive upgrade to 20-year-old can lighting in my main living room. I installed six of these and by the time I got to the last one I had it down, but the first three were tough and my knuckles and hands were cut up pretty bad. I suggest a LONG, SKINNY, needle nose plier to grab hold of the springs that clip the fixture into place. This will keep your hands from getting cut up. Once I started using these my hands were protected and the process was super quick.

These canned lights are nice looking, but the inner rim is razor sharp. So attaching the two springs to hold the canned fixture in place results in deep cuts to your fingers and knuckles. Not fun. Plus the finish is not satin nickel but more like stainless steel. For this reason I cannot recommend this product.

These Torchstar recessed can light trims are super nice! I had the boring old off-white ones they were built with the house--yuck!! These add such a nice change from the off-white ceilings to the bronze can trims. They were very easy to install. I am super pleased and I love the new look in my kitchen and in the hallway!

I'm going with a brushed nickel theme for my renovation and these look very nice. I am very satisfied with them and they make my budget project look nicer than a lot of extremely costly renovations hired out to pros.

Easy to use, sturdy, but not quite the tint I expected; it's closer to a brushed steel or aluminum, with only the slightest tint towards brushed nickel. Still a decent price, though, so I'm keeping them.

Great addition to kitchen canisters. Need to be very careful as they are sharp and will cut your hand with install. Recommend wearing gloves as it’s the inner can that is sharp. Looks great and no issues.

Takes your recessed lights up a notch with a higher end look. Pretty solid price for the quality and esthetic they add, will be ordering more!

Quality seems good. Was looking for the type that has the wire spring wings, but they seem hard to find. Would have had to drill holes for the connector springs, if they had fit. I installed what I thought were 16 HALO standard 6 inch pots. They turn out to be 5.5 inches and these do not fit. They really are 6 inches, I thought my pots at 5.5 inches was like a 2 x 4, (not actually) The drawing has all the dimensions that don't matter, they leave out the size of the cone at the bottom. Should confirm that it is 6 inches since HALO sells 6 inch pots that are really 5.5 inches.

I really like these pot light covers. They are perfectly fit for my kitchen. They do look more brushed stainless steel than brushed nickel but in my case they perfectly matched color with everything else in the kitchen.
