BTSKY® High Capacity Zipper Case- Multi-Functional for Stationery and Pencil, 72 Slots Colored Portable Bags With 2 Removable Sleeves(Black)

I have experimented with various pencil cases for storing sharpies, gelly roll pens and luminance pencils. By skipping loops every so often these all can work BUT universally one or two "sides" cannot be used. Almost all cases have too small an overall width. The fatter implements make closing the case impossible because the width overall is too narrow to accommodate six or eight "panels" of fatties. This case is the only exception I have found so far. First I tried a 76 piece set of luminance pencils, which are a little larger diameter than regular pencils. Could use all loops (no skipping needed) for 72 pencils and put four in the zippered compartment in the front. No problem. Emboldened, I tried my Gelly Roll pens. Part of the problem with pens is the extra case width needed to accommodate the caps. I partially address this by alternating cap up, cap down. I was able to use all 12 loops per panel and to completely fill case that way and still could close case without much pressure being exerted on the zipper from within. Using all twelve loops per side made things a little tight for getting the pens in and out of the loops so I reorganized into ten pens per side (intermittent spacing), then made up the difference (twelve pens) then some by putting a single layer of 14 Gelly Rolls into the zippered pocket at the front of the case. Still zips up easily, noproblem! I had two pens left over and, as pictured, could EASILY fit them into the under-utilized space between the inner-most pen and the spine of the case that exists for each panel except the first panel. I show this in a picture. Also, you can see from pictures of the exterior that the zipper is not stressed, and that there is a fair amount of unused capacity. I think you could easily fit four extras into each of the three spaces between panels (but not between zipper pocket panel and first pen panel). You may want to adjust the Velcro panels to even out the extra space. I didn't experiment with the max possible in the inner "margins" but I think 2-4 is reasonable. I really wouldn't want too many loose pens popping out everywhere upon opening. Now, after all the ins and outs as I tried various configurations the sewing between two of the loops came loose, which resulted in one giant loop. I chose to just make the big loop one of the two skipped loops for that panel. It does raise my interest in whether this could be a good way to put sharpies in but that would allow maybe 6-8 fatties per side and this would not accommodate my sharpie needs. AND the fit of the Gelly Rolls tells me that six full sides of fat markers isnt going to work, even with the front zipper panel empty. If I ever get around to trying that I will add to this review. As it is, I am THRILLED to find a case that can accommodate some of my oversized tools without needing to leave 1/4 to 1/6 of the panels empty (in addition to having to leave a couple of empty slots on each panel). And the fact that I managed to pop the sewing on one out of 72 loops due to all my filling and unfilling detracts from my opinion of this case not at all. I really really wish case makers would stop representing that cases designed for standard colored pencils are equally suited to bigger pencils and markers. It just isn't so. I think a good way to tell if a case will really work for the larger tools is to note the number of inner panels and the case width. If you measure the width of cases you might already own you can see if the case width is larger overall than another case with the same number of panels. That is how I came to try this one. This one Is about half an inch wider than other cases with the same number of panels. It just stands to reason that you can't fill a case with bigger tools than it was designed for and still be able to close it. So far this is the only case I have found that works for things with greater diameters than ordinary pencils. Oddly, given the jillions of cases BTSKY markets this seems to be the only one with a width greater than is needed for ordinary pencils. Note, in case I wasn't clear, the photos of the closed case are with the case FULL including the zipper compartment and a few loose pens in the margins. The fourth photo shows all the unused capacity in the inner margins even with the case full and a few extra pencils in the spine margins. The third photo Is intended to show that there is no undue pressure on the zipper with the case very full. And the last photo shows what the case filled with 76 Gelly Roll pens looks like zipped up and just sitting there. Obviously it is not stuffed so full that it is about to pop!

Hi everyone. I'm a stationary addict and I recently wanted a way to gather up all my most used stationary that was travel yet organization friendly. This pencil case, although like other reviews has stated does exhibit some issues in the design (frayed stitches on the inside mostly) it is definitely worth the price and so far is an amazing case! I will update this with the durability if it turns out it's not good over time, but for now here's my review. What I Fit in Mine (comfortably with only a bit of bulging) : -3 stablio boss highlighters in the zipper pocket -a 6 inch ruler in the ziper pocket - a hi polymer eraser in the side pocket - a kneaded eraser in the side pocket -a uniball Jetstream signo pen -3 tombow mono drawing pens (fineliners) -2 tombow small brush pens -1 uniball signo white gel pen -2 mechanical pencils -10 zebra mildliners highlighters -17 tombow dual brush pens -1 click eraser -10 stablio point 88 fineliners -1 sharpie -1 pilot g2 pen -5 frixon pastel highlighters -pair of scissors -white out pen on the side (not in the loops) Pros: -it comes with 3 of the section loop tabs (which are front and back), with the bottom two being detachable on a velcro strip. I found this really good because not only can you detach or attach when necessary, but if youre putting in thicker items like pens, you can separate them a bit so that it is not as bulky -this would be PERFECT for those only putting pencils, but still works for those putting markers like me -Fits tombow dual brush pens amazingly, zebra mildliners (although with a bit of a push), tombow fineliners, etc -good for the price and although I've never had a Kipling I've heard this is a good cheap alternative -you can decorate the front with collected pins or patches -the zipper pocket part may look small, but it extends all the way downwards past the two pocket sections -if you do not want to use all three tabs or have space under it, you can use the bottom area to put in small books/journal , your Kindle, phone, etc - has a little grip handle thing that doesn't look or feel weak - the black version looks really professional and wouldn't get easily stained, the color and feel are good too -perfect for art supplies ( most travel pallets fit on the bottom section), Journaling on the go (most journals fit on the bottom section), etc Cons: -the loops are meant for pencils, making it hard to fit in some thicker pens. My solution for this was to skip one loop every color section so that it allows the others to become bigger while still looking organized. -it does have fraying in the inside stitches. I trim them off with scissors, do not pull as they are susceptible to breaking stitches -if you are like me and decided to put a lot of thicker pens and markers, it does get a bit bulky but not so much that it's super hard to close

I purchased this supply box for my daughter to carry in her book bag at school. I found that the plastic containers would not hold all of the supplies requested by the teachers. I looked online and found this perfect box. It is roomy enough for all of her supplies. There are separate compartments inside of this box to keep everything organized. This makes it easy for her to open it and find what she’s looking for. The zipper quality is excellent. This is used by an elementary school child who is not gentle on it and it still hasn’t broken. This box is easy to transport, she keeps it right inside of her book bag. As far as storage capacity, this one is better than anything else I have found. It is very spacious inside. It has a hard exterior cover to protect the supplies inside so they don’t get broken or smashed. While it has a hard exterior, the cloth over the hard case is very soft and nice. This is my second purchase of a box like this. Each school year I will buy this box. Highly recommend it. It is a great value for the money and it lasts all school year!

This bag is a beautiful cobalt blue color which is just what I needed for my Dutch themed sketchbag. It is slightly too small for an A5 sketchbook, but there are fortunately sketchbooks out there in the size it takes, which is about 5.5 x 8. It cannot take a 6 by 8.5 inch sketchbooks. So I almost did not buy it because of this, because Walmart reported the correct measurements but it was not the same on Amazon and I was pretty sure it looked like the same bag but Amazon reported a larger size and it's not big enough for A5. I did see some sketchbooks I liked that did fit, and no one else makes a bag big enough in this color, so I can live with it. My complaint on the functionality is that the first pencil holder flap (there are three in total), the first flap is sewn in, so snugly on the left side of the seam of the cover meeting the body, that the zipper bag with the swatch pocket area cannot hold anything thicker than a ruler or swatches or an eraser plate, and they will probably slide around. What would have improved the design is to make the only attached pencil flap loose with the velcro tooth strip like the others, or to have sewn it in to the right of the seam. It's like an ovestuffed wallet that you can't close and almost in the way, so, I sliced this flap out carefully and will attach some black velcro to this flap edge so it can function like the other positionable velcro-edge pencil flaps, or just finish it off on my sewing machine and tuck it in the bottom layer, because I would like to use the zippered part to hold erasers and sharpeners and it's just too snug a fit for them if I put anything in the side of the flap facing the zipper pouch, which I already customized to fit pens by snipping some of the stitching (don't worry each side is individually stitched so it won't mess up the other side (otherwise it just holds pencils). It's just going to need some tweaking. I currently have it loaded with 24 pastel pencils and 24 colored pencils, and pens, and it still has room for 12 more pencils or brushes. It will also hold erasers and sharpeners, a tiny watercolor palette and tombow blender sheet as a paint mixing palette, brushes as long as a pencil, or a waterbrush, and a sketchbook or even two. I also love where the handle is placed. This bag is ideal for colored pencils or pastel pencils because of its unique removable velcro pencil holder flaps. I would recommend the bag.

I originally bought these for my art pencils but after this case arrived I remembered that I have the 132 set of colored pencils, not 72 set. So I was thinking how to use this case. Then remembered that I use these gel pens for my bullet journaling: ink gel roller pens, all types of gel pen pens (glitter, metallic, neon), and fineliner colored fine tip markers. I admit that on some of the "pages" within the case that I didn't need to use every pen/pencil slot. However, I don't doubt I would have had enough space had I needed to use those other slots. I broke up my organization by type of pen. I've attached photos of all of the inside of the case, from the first page to the last, to give you an idea of how much it holds and how it looks. The first "page" and last are attached to the case. The second one (middle) is removable by velcro which is kind of nice. As you can see it is undetectable (that it is detachable). When I closed up the case I had no issue at all! Despite them all being pens, with most being pens that are much wider than a pencil, the thickness of the case was still more than wide enough to handle it comfortably! The handle of the case is really nice as well. Often a handle will barely come up, making it not very useful. This handle comes up more than expected. It naturally lays flat but easily comes up and the case is comfortable to carry. It has two zippers to open the case which I liked. They don't look or feel cheap at all and I believe they will last me. I've had things like this before where you had to be careful because of cheap zippers and this one has a quality zipper! The inside of the case, when you first open it up and on the left side, has a storage area. There is a zipper at the top which opens up to a pocket that goes down to the bottom so you can put anything that is as long as the case into this area. Then half way down there are three useful open pockets. The case is very light weight so your only weight is really what you will put inside of it. For the price of this case, it is an amazing deal!

I would definitely take a look at this case if you are looking for a 72 pencil holder! I only WISH the manufactures would make this EXACT style in a larger capacity as so many artists now have 120-150 pencil sets that buy cases. I really like the case that much and I own quite a few to hold multiple sets of pencils. Here is what gives the BTSKY High Capacity Zipper Pencil Case a 5 Star Review: - Holds 72 Pencils in individual elastic slots - The elastic slots are perfectly sized and do not grab the edges of certain brands of pencils that are not smooth at the top so you can load the pencil in either direction (sharp tip point first or other top end first). - The removable sleeves!!! Yes - this is what I want in ALL my cases from now on. I love the idea of velcro pages. It lets me customize my case. - I can fit a small project inside case such as coloring note cards or certain travel sized books. - Zipper pocket holds additional supplies (pens, pencils, etc). - Two small open pockets would hold business card or what I use one for : a large index card with color chart. - Handle actually fits hand - Dual zipper makes it easy to open and zipper tags have the holes in them so you can add a ID keyring or I suppose a small luggage type lock. - Outside material is similar to what would be found on a high end backpack. I was admittedly worried when it said nylon; that it would be flimsy, but this is a sturdy case that does not attract lint or pet hair like my 150 canvas case does and doesn't slide off the bed or a couch quite as quickly as the faux leather ones. Overall, this is one of the best designed cases I have tried or purchased and I would recommend it. EDITED JAN 11, 2017 - Added photos I added two photos to show a picture of the inside front and the back. In the front photo it shows the zippered mesh pocket (largest), and the two smaller open pockets. The zippered pocket could hold additional pencils, pens, markers, etc but I have in my photo to illustrate size a packet of coloring note cards that measure 7"L x 5"W. They slide in with ease and can be zippered shut with a little room. The next pocket has a standard index card (color chart) shown a little out of pocket for camera purpose, and bottom pocket has an eraser tucked inside. The page across from it has assorted pens and pencils to show that slots will accomadate various types. It is a tight fit having all of these in one page so I wouldn't recommend it without skipping at least one slot but most cases I know the slots won't fit anything other than pencils. On the back page photo I wanted to show an example of the travel size book that fits. This is from Dover publications and is Bliss Seashores Your Passport to Calm which also measures 7"x5". I keep a ziplock plastic bag between the last page of pencils and the book to keep the cover from getting marked while being carried (and it can double as a garbage bag for pencil shavings).

I really like these pencil cases. The individual “pages” each hold twelve pencils (or pens) per side. The case holds 72 pencils total which is PERFECT for me as I have a 72 count set of Derwent Inktense pencils and a 72 count set of watercolor pencils. Two of the pages are removable by Velcro which is nice if you want to remove a page to have out on the table or even stick in your backpack or bag of coloring supplies. The case itself isn’t too huge so it’s easily transportable as well. I like that the elastic holds ONE pencil at a time and it’s tight so the pencils aren’t falling out constantly. I’ll include photos below to show what I mean. Good quality at a decent price.

Not what I expected although I gave it an extra star because I can force it to hold several types of pens. Really, it's only meant for use w/standard pencils. Although a variety of brush pens/markers BARELY fit into the loops, you most certainly can't store a whole bunch, and definitely not 72. It has 3 pen "sleeves", and 2 can be detached (velcro). Each sleeve has 12 slots on each side. It's a real pain in the hoohoo getting my Staedtler fineliners in/out.... MAJOR downside for me. Which is a little bonkers considering these fineliners are designed with a pretty darn narrow barrel to begin with. Comfortably, 4-5 fineliners would fit before I needed to skip a loop. I forced the pens in anyhow so I could keep color groups together. The pen loops are sewn unevenly; which lets you insert larger pens, albeit only in a few places (the loops seem wonky towards the edge of the first sleeve). If you wish to use the storage at the bottom/backside of case, you can't put any pens on the rear of the last sleeve. Or you can remove the 3rd sleeve and you'll get a nice little area for loose items. With all 3 sleeves utilized, I can only fit 6 Sparkle Noir brush pens & 3 highlighters in the rear of the case...OR, alternately, w/the 3 sleeves utilized & larger items placed at the rear, the mesh zippered compartment on the front becomes even more useless. With this setup, the darn case won't close and the top/front is all lumpy. I should've paid better attention to the specs as the case is a bit too wide for my liking. I can't recall what measurements are listed but whatever it is, add another inch or so to the width for after it's been stocked/full of supplies. I wanted something I could store in my Tombow carry case (which is huge); this won't fit because I also have the 96 count marker stand and other materials taking up real estate in my tote. Pictured next to my kindle and Starbucks can to give an idea of scale. Every time I open it, my erasers and pens at the front fall out. Only the mesh area stays put. It really messes with my OCD to have to reorganize every single time I open the case. I've pictured a few of my other pens to show which fit. Although the following fit, it definitely took some elbow grease and my finger tips didn't appreciate the action: Tombow Dual Brush, Micron, Uni-Ball Signo, Inkjoy Gel, Faber-Castell Artist, Tombow Fudenosuke, Sharpie Neon & Ultra Fine, Zebra Midliner, Pentel Sign, Marvy Le Plume II Double-Sided, Kuretake Metallic, Jelly Gel. If you utilize the case like me, you'll only be able to store roughly 40 pens (fineliners), and potentially an additional 8-15 (max) using the front and/or rear compartments. I kept the case because I don't want to reorganize all my pens again but I'm still hunting for a narrower case that has room for my thicker brush pens, will keep everything in place, allows you to utilize the entire case, and isn't so dang difficult getting the pens in/out.

Greatly practical and huge storing capacity

Este estuche lo compré en 2023 y aún lo tengo, digo ya no esta como me llegó pero por dentro y fuera sigue igual, me refiero a que nunca se ha descosido ni roto o algo por el estilo. Una consideración que deben tener es que está de un tamaño grande comparado a otros estuches

I really love this arts travel case. The fabric is good quality. It holds 72 pencils and/or brushes. Has a great zippered section for your erasers. The large compartment at the back holds my small travel art diaries. Can't wait to take on holidays. Definitely recommend.
