Bought these went to use them after trying to light them realised that all had a hole in the top and couldn't light up or float really disappointing and wasted my money

Bought these disgusting sky lanterns that went too high into the sky and caught a light to the engine of a plane causing the engine to fail, making one of the wings fall off then exploding in air creating a great fireworks and at the end of it all the latern landed safely back on my driveway

Bought these to commemorate the birthday of my departed son. They look beautiful when they float up into the sky. The only slight negative is that they could be a bit more durable – they are very easy to tear, and we broke one because of this. Be careful when unfolding them - they won’t float off if they get a rip in. Well worth the money though – really a great product for the money.

I wasn't expecting it, bit it hit me hard. Sending this off with a whisky in my hand helped. I think. Unpack the product, fully, preferably indoors. Waft it around a little as if to inflate it with air. Kind of like when you see those people doing giant bubbles. Now hold the top and check it looks ok. Remove the film over the fuel. Take a tea light candle. Place the candle on the floor and light the candle. Now, holding the top of the sky light lower it down on the tea light. Light the edge of the square fuel cell. Now wait. Think of it as a hot air balloon inflating. You might see a fold that needs opening a little. As it 'inflates' hold the bamboo rim at the bottom with one hand, You will notice its 'filling up and wants to lift, hold the bottom with both hands, say your words and let go. Hope this helps.

4 out of 5 lanterns from our pack managed to float off, the 1st one didn’t take flight but it was an error on our part and ended up ripping it at one side….. the other 4 we had no problems getting them to light, inflate and take off. Although one got caught in some trees but managed to accumulate enough hot air to pull it self back out and float up into the sky again. Beautiful way to send 1st heavenly birthday wishes to our mum 🥲

Je suis Raiponce et je vais à la fête des lanternes. Presque en vrai car les lanternes sont de belle taille. A ne pas utiliser si il y a du vent (une des lanternes est toujours accrochée à l'arbre devant la maison). Mes enfants étaient émerveillés quand elles se sont envolées. (moi aussi j'avoue) Depuis le temps que je voulais essayer je n'ai pas été déçue. On trouve des petites lanternes de qualités médiocre dans des magasins discount mais elles n'ont rien à voir avec celles-ci. Belle taille et bel effet, je recommande!
