what is the differance between the 60xt and 60a blades?

The 60 xt is thinner..its sharper, but breaks much easier than the 60a...in my experience I like the 60a better..

Does these blades fit the Gerber vital

That is in correct I have the vital and you have to have the correct blades for it These blades are for the havalon ONLY.. yes they will go on but will not lock and the result is stitches...i know

Are the 60xt thicker than 60A blades?

no, the 60xt are thinner than the 60a blades

What is the length of the blade

The cutting edge of the blade is 2-3/8". Overall length is 2-3/4". The blades only fit Havalon folding knives. I have owned one for quite a few years. It is a very handy "go to" instrument for many purposes. The blades are extremely, extremely sharp (emphasis added). This is a good thing, but requires careful handling.
