Quality and durable
Everything is good. I have MS. Lower lumbar spine canal nerve damage. These help me with my hands. I get constriction and. these help give my hands dexterity and stability. Like anything else you have to care for them. Clean by hand.

Gave him back some dignity
My husband has Parkinson's disease. I bought this set to make it easier for him to eat "normally".This set had given him back some dignity while eating. The spoons offer a deeper bowl so he doesn't shake all the soup or cereal out while eating. The larger handles offer him the ability to feed himself with confidence again.Something so simple added a higher quality of life.Down side: The metal is too flimsy and flexible. It is great for soup or cereal, but bent easily while he was getting himself some ice cream.

Working great for my mother!
My mother’s hands shake a lot and this set has been great. Work great . They are just heavy enough to where her hands don’t shake as bad when she’s eating. Great price and great product . She has thanked me many times for these. I’m thinking of getting her another set of them

Great Idea
These utensils are easy to pick up and hold, however, they need some fine tuning. I would prefer that the knife blade be shaped more like a regular dinner knife and have a less deep serration. The handle on the soup spoon hits the side of the dish when you have cereal or soup and prevents one from leaving it in the dish between bites, etc. The teaspoon is fine for stirring tea or coffee but may have the same p roblem as the soup spoon when using in a dessert dish. the fork is okay.

Easy to use and reliable
We recently bought adaptive eating utensils for my 90 year old grandmother. She is recovering from a massive right cerebral stroke. Recovery is a slow and difficult process for anyone let alone a 90 yr old. She is determined and wanted to feed herself. These utensils are the beginning of her independence. She is able to hold them and keep the large handles moving the direction she wants it to go. The size of the handle and the weight of the utensils is perfect for an unstable arm. She's able to pick up food and get it to her mouth with ease. Too bad the home that she's in can't provide this type of utensil for her and other stroke recovery victims, it would greatly improve their sense of self to have the ability to feed themselves.

has pointed end not shown in ad not good in dishwasher knife bent the first time
my husband has tremors in his hands and they are unable to control them with meds, he is in hospice care here at home and I try to do everything I can to make life easier for him. Just got these on the 25th and washed them 1 time and the blade on the knife is bent and I am unable to bend it back straight and it has a sharper end than I was expecting for safety reasons as shown in pic
