These mats are a good size and definitely help stop litter from being tracked around so much. It helps me not have to vacuum quite as much. Nice size. Easy to vacumn off. I bought two for myself and one for my daughter. Thinking about buying another one. I put one under the litter box. I keep my litter box in the spare bathtub. When they jump out the litter stays in the little places on the mat and you don’t pick the fine particles up on your feet or socks as it settles diwn into the mat till you cucumber then your vacuum sucjs it all out. Really like these mats. Saves me a lot of cleanup. I gave three cats.

Traps quite a bit of litter & helps with tracking compared to numerous other mats/rugs we’ve tried—we use clumping & crystal litters. Buttttt….Our female cat likes to urinate just inside the litter box entrance occasionally (& aims high) so the mat does get wet. We clean her box twice daily, but sometimes the urine disappears under the mesh of this mat and goes undetected (gross). Once it is cleaned & rinsed we shake it and have to rotate it to get it completely dry—easier to dry outside on hot days—but it’s still an all day affair to ensure that it’s dry. We have a second one in rotation for that reason— it does not have the smaller squares so we’re going to cut one end open & slide a pee pad in to alleviate the mat harboring hidden urine & speed drying time. Also, don’t assume that it’s 100% waterproof. When it first arrived we did a test by placing a blue pee pad (attractant-free) underneath. We were disappointed to see that the urine had leached through to the pad.Considering our urine predicaments overall this mat is the best so far. It is better at catching the litter, and is best for urine over the mats that have grooves like a car floor mat (our cat would walk through the urine— ugghh filthy cats!!). So we’ll still be searching for the perfect mat (or the perfect cat!!)

This is probably the best litter mat Amazon offers. it’s not perfect but it traps most of the litter that my cat tracks out of the box. It cleans easily with my bacon hose attachment. It looks like it will wash well if it ever needs it. It’s also rather attractive and so far is showing no signs of wear. Milked the two layer one I purchased my cat has shown no hesitation in in walking on it from the moment I layed it down. I’d give it 4 1/2 stars if the system would let me. I highly recommend it.

I bought this to put in front of our Litter-Robot 3 (which we LOVE). It works great for trapping errant litter granules. I was afraid that the cats would avoid it because of the texture but they have no problems with it. It's soft to bare feet (feline and human) and the litter is low enough that it doesn't stick to shoes or bare feet...can't feel it either. It is also very easy to vacuum. It's a really good mat and is an excellent alternative to the pricey one that Litter-Robot sells and more expensive ones on Amazon.

It surprised me how well it worked. Definitely traps the litter coming out of the litter box and off my kitty’s feet as she gets out of the litter box.

The pad is large enough to catch the granules of clay that the cats track out of the sandbox. I replaced the smaller (pet store) litter pads that never seemed to catch everything. I had to dry mop the floors every day with the smaller pads. Sometimes the dog would sneak over and pee on the pad… which leaked. These pads seem to be thicker and more urine-resistant… I was happy enough to get another one for the other high trafficked box. So far, so good.UPDATE: 7/1, minus a star. Not urine proof. Have to put a raggedy towel under the mat to protect the floor from urine leaking through the allegedly urine resistant rubber. Not good.

My cat has an open litter and tends to paw sand over the sides. Not much, but enough to make the floor crunchy underfoot. This mat catches the sand, works well, and costs less than equivalent mats made by other brands.

Helps to trap litter. Easy to clean. Nice size.

Needed a mat that would allow the door to swing close but also stop litter from being tracked out.The size allows for the tray to sit on the mat and also be effective at keeping the litter around the tray area. My cat isn't the type to kick up a lot of litter yet still makes a trail of tiny litter crumbs all over the houseI tried a the mat that had bigger holes and that could be opened and tipped out but it prevented the door from closing and I still made a mess when cleaning upSlightly creased from transport but it should straighten eventually or I'll take the advice of others and use hot water to reshape

I was, for ages, using an old doormat as a litter mat for my cat's tray. He's super messy when going to the loo, so I find it easy to have a mat to at least ensure most of the litter isn't going on the carpet.However, I was getting bored of the doormat and wanted something that looked overall a bit nicer so I tried this! And personally, I've got no quarrels so far.Pros:- decently sized- Good quality material (it's made of rubber)- looks good- cat likes to scratch it a bit- due to it being rubber and a bit heavy, it stays put and doesn't move aboutCons:- the way the actual surface is, it's got a bunch of holes. I think it's perfectly fine for me - but I use wooden pellet litter. I have a feeling that if you were using classic litter, it'd get stuck inside the mat and be a pain to get outPersonally, it's perfect for me!

I was disappointed to find this smart and robust mat requires HANDWASHING! Well, I shall be using the Silk/delicates program on my machine😊. My immediate thought was, whoever designed this and selected the material, can’t be a busy housewife, unless, of course, the producer is covering their back. I shall emend this review when I see how it fares in my machine.
