Open Pit Mine Planning and Design, Two Volume Set & CD-ROM Pack

I received the two volume set but not the CD so the second part of the set is useless.

valuable book. lots of interesting study cases. planning to buy more for my old college library (out of country) if i can get discount

That book is excellent

Was very surprised at the quality of the book. Great detail with many examples and illustrations although the user will require some knowledge of advance maths and statistics.It will be a great addition to our company library as a reference book especially for the young mining engineers.Strongly recommended.

I only received volume 2 of the 2 piece set. This was only the instructions for the program and NOT the actual textbook therefor leaving me with no resources for the class I was taking.I was able to have the second book sent to me 4 days later after being on the phone with amazon support for almost an hour and a half. He was very helpful however, I was put through to the FRENCH help line even though I had specified otherwise.

The books themselves are GREAT, but the main idea of this whole textbook is to teach you how to use the software, providing the theoretical background, in the first volume and the practical support, in the second one. I've ordered this two times and had to return it twice, because of the missing CD. To be honest, the second delivery seemed it's just my old order, wrapped in a new plastic (and still missing the CD).

Good and informative book. I use it as a reference.
