I think I love this! Easy to install! The sticker on the compressor says intertek made by the same company who produced the pioneer brand compressor. So, I think intertek makes the compressors and slaps on a different sticker depending on who buys it state side, but I don't know.

very quiet inside and out good cooling seems economical fairly easy to install with knowledge of a/c and electrical, The actual temp reading on the display seems a little off. 70 degrees is colder than my room reading.... need to put it on 76 to feel comfortable yet my room thermometer reads 70. The prime 2 day messed up--one box went to Dallas one got here on time. I live 100 miles from Dallas. Price has dropped since we bought it..This unit has a high SEER which is desirable as far as electrical cost. Make sure you hook it up right--electrical wire colors do not match manual unless you figure what I guess is USA colors and European. green=green red=red black=?yellow.
