(2-Pack) Authentic Aspire CE5 BVC Clearomizer Atomizer 1.8ml / 1.8ohm Clear

I bought these clearomisers because I was fed up with Top Fill CE4's constantly leaking. I was very disappointed when after just a few days of use I found, as others have, that the base ring was creeping off of the main plastic tank and was leaking. It was fairly easy to squeeze back into position but was necessary to repeat every few hours which was totally unacceptable. I finally emptied the unit, deliberately pulled the ring right off, washed with 99.9% alcohol, slid the ring back on about 1/2 way. applied a drop of Super Glue spread all around the plastic tank and the ring, and then IMMEDIATLY tapped all of the way back on. Result the ring now does not creep and after about 1 month there is still NO LEAKAGE at all. Note it is important to tap the ring "home" immediately after applying the glue. Epoxy might also work and possibly be easier to use because it does not set as quickly. Be very careful to not get any glue into the thread inside the bottom of the ring where the coil holder screws in.UPDATE 24th March. Still working well with NO leaks or other problems.

I have bought this item several times because the way it is made.Breaks very easily.Even when opening to fill it up.Very flimsy in its making.

Every time one of these is dropped the shock slightly separates the plastic body from the metal base.After a while they start to leak. You can tell this has happened if you can insert a fingernail into a gap between the metal base and the 'shoulder' on the plastic bit.You can fix this quite easily by squeezing pushing the two halves back together, or by standing it on its base, removing the mouthpiece and giving it a sharp tap to close up the gap.
