This D/C CDI(Capacitor Discharge Ignition) performance part is a direct replacement for gy6 50cc-250cc Scooter/Moped/ATV/Dirt Bike/Go Kart. Before you purchase this CDI, you will need to know if your CDI is A/C or D/C. If you order the wrong one, it will plug in but won't work, therefore be sure you order the correct version. This CDI allows you to adjust your firing curve to tune it with your riding set-up. It has digital 9 ignition curves to play around with. Equipped with a 39.37" wired switch to adjust CDI more conveniently. It is much bigger than the original CDI and will be hard to find a way to mount it. It's advertised: racing high performance part, makes your motorcycle/bike a completely different animal. I disagree with the advertisement, it won't make your bike a different animal. You will have a bike with a bigger CDI and an expensive one. Will it improve performance? It can improve ignition curve firing, but performance will take more than just a CDI. If you have already done a carburetor jet upgrade, exhaust upgrade, tuned your transmission, then yes give it a try, it may be what you need. But, if you are bone stock, your stock CDI is all you need IMO.
