Nice camera in replace of Go Pro
Really nice camera as a subsitute for the expensive Go Pro! Quality is really nice. It has a wide angle. Underwater picture and video quality is really clear. And its really sealed so you dont have to worry bout leaking water inside. The only thing is that the viewing screen is too small so u wont be able to see or review and picture or video. Overall im telling if you dont have the money this is a nice replacement for Go Pro.

A Well Designed, Reliable Camera at the Right Pricepoint
This is a great option for someone looking for a good camera at a reasonable, but not horribly high, pricepoint. I took it diving a couple weeks ago and tried out many options. The quality of the pictures taken is quite good. I don't expect to be winning any photography contests. I just want a nice camera that seems well built and unlikely to leak any time soon. This fits the bill.Of the photos I took, a number were blurry because you have to realize there is a delay between pressing the shutter button and the actual taking of the picture. This means you have to press the button and concentrate on holding the camera still for another second or two. This is actually a good thing. The housing to protect this from water means the springs and buttons have a stiff action to them. Pressing the shutter and having an immediate picture taken would likely result in blurry pictures due to movement. Now that I know how to do this, I know I can press the button, then focus on holding everything perfectly, and the pictures will come out nicely. The video function is also very good quality 1080p. The menu options are easy to use, and the screen is easy enough to see underwater. Downloading the pics to my computer is a breeze with the cable that is provided. You DO need to add the SD storage card, but those are really cheap and you can get a huge amount of storage for a few dollars.Pros: Good price point. Easy to use. Very decent pictures and videos. Lots of options like a mounting hole for attaching to equipment, nice wrist strap so you don't lose it. Remote control to take photos from the wrist mounted button.Cons: It's not a professional quality high end camera. It's all about the pricepoint. It's better than the fifty dollar cameras I see out there. But it's not a camera someone looking to public in National Geographic would use. This is going to be great for my trip to Hawaii in a couple days. Very pleased.

The water in Belize is as clear as a glass of water so these were excellent testing conditions and the camera failed on all leve
I'm returning it. The screen on the back is the size of a thumbprint so you have no idea what you are taking pictures of. I bought this for my first trip to Belize and had to guess what I was capturing every time I used it. I am an experienced scuba diver and out of 16 movies and 50 pictures I maybe have 10 clear pictures and 1 decent video - none of which show true color - everything looks brownish green. The water in Belize is as clear as a glass of water so these were excellent testing conditions and the camera failed on all levels. I was extremely disappointed.

Need strong fingers!
If you want to take videos only, you may like this camera. I got good quality video from it.However, if you want to take still photos of moving objects, or evenstationary objects, buy a different camera. The shutter is very hard to depress so it's very hard to keep the camera frommoving. Hence, you get blurry photos. The remote that comes with the camera only seems to work on dry land and eachcamera has a remote that is specific to it, so if the remote breaks (which mine did after only trying it on dry land) you can'tjust get the remote swapped out. The store ended up giving me a new camera. The new remote did not fall apart like the first one, but it only worked reliably for 2 days. Anyway, I thought to get around the difficult shutter button by using the remote, but the remote justdoesn't work most of the time. In fact, all the buttons on this device are extremely difficult to operate. And finally, theviewscreen is tiny and makes it difficult to see what you are shooting. I'm not sure for the price if a better camera canbe had, but if there is, go for it.

Nice enough entry camera for under water photography, but get a red filter if using it for scuba
It took better pictures when scuba diving than I used to get with an IPhone in a case. I didn't yet have the red filter--I've since bought it, but haven't had a chance to try it--and the pictures were in general pretty washed out in blue, beyond repair with standard software. That's not a criticism; more a warning to get a red filter. The main problem is that it is not very intuitive how to use it. Even with the instructions on line, it wasn't easy to remember. And making changes, other than from photo to video, on the fly under water would be impossible without many hours of experience just putting it through its paces. So... for a relatively inexpensive underwater camera, I'm reasonably pleased, but it could be easier to use.

Great little camera
Great little camera, used it on a Truk Lagoon Dive trip and it worked fine. Used video stills to pull single images for my pictures. Small, compact, just add light kits and you're good to go.

open case
Worked great for the first 5 dives but the case opened on our 6th dive and the camera was ruined. All our pictures were on the card so we did not lose them. Not sure why the case opened but up to that point the camera worked great. We are calling it an operator error since the camera was fine on 5 other dives and in the pool, beach, and boat prior to the mishap.

If the battery life was good...
Battery life so far has been nearly non-existant. I can leave it on the charger overnight, take it with me to the aircraft, and have it not even power up after maybe only 4-6 hours of sitting there turned off and unused.
