LED MR11 Light Bulbs 2W, 12V 20W Halogen Replacement, GU4 Bi-Pin Base, Daylight White 6000K (Pack of 4)

Purchased this to replace the burned-out bulb in my wife Christmas village. Since I had the village apart to determine what bulb I needed this was a quick install. The new LED bulb fit without any issues and was plenty bright. I put the village all back together and turned it on. Everything on the village lit up correctly and was bright. We used the village the last four weeks, it is cooler with LED and was on many long hours plus most days. The final check will be to see if it survives storage until next year.

I was fed-up with halogen bulbs dying super quickly on my range hood; the steam, the fat projections, the temperature an so on do not help to preserve the fragile halogen bulbs. After searching online I discovered that the halogen bulbs can be replaced by LED bulbs without no major issues, except they can possibly flicker. So I decided to give a try and they are a total game changer!!! In 5 points: - easy to install, same size as regular halogen bulbs - super easy to clean - not fragile at all - very bright (a bit too much) - no flickering with my range hood And, since I bought them, they are still working perfectly!

I bought these to replace the halogen bulb in my fiber optic Angel, which was way too hot and scorched the inside of its base. This led bulb stays cool and I’m getting a more vibrant color throughout my Angel. I am very pleased.

Swapped these for burnt halogen versions in Christmas village decor that uses the fiber optics and color wheels. While I wish the light output had a warmer tone, it works well enough. Update: One has failed on me already, sadly (2025)

Excellent light for outdoor landscape lighting. I am not sure when I bought these, but they last forever. Well worth the few dollars I paid.

Easy to install. Bright and clear. Better than the old yellow ones I had. More coverage area. Hope it last long for some years.

This is a great replacement light and perfectly matched the incandescent I replaced it with. Nice and bright too!

Lights are approximately 6000 degrees K - harsh blue cast. Not a good replacement for halogen 20 W. Not sufficiently bright.

Ich war mir nicht sicher, wie viel Licht aus den 2w-Lampen kommen würde, aber als ich den Schalter einschaltete, war ich positiv überrascht. Die Lampen, die ich vorher hatte, waren Halogenlampen mit 20w, die vielleicht ein bisschen mehr Licht produzieren, aber zusammen mit dem Licht wurde auch eine Menge Wärme produziert. Mit dieser LED-Lampe ist dieses Problem nun verschwunden und ich persönlich finde die 6000K angenehmer als die Halogenlampen mit 2700K, die mich sehr müde macht. Kurz gesagt, PROs sind: * gut gebaut und schön verpackt. *starkes Licht für so wenig Wattzahl * weniger Wärmeentwicklung als bei den Halogenlampen *es gibt kein sichtbares Flackern *nicht sehr teuer * funktioniert problemlos mit alten Halogen-Transformatoren, kein zusätzlicher LED-Treiber erforderlich. Und die CON ist: * wäre besser gewesen, wenn es ein Diffusor-Element in der Vorderseite des Lichts war. Zum Thema Langlebigkeit, sie arbeiten brav und nur die Zeit wird zeigen, wie sie sind. Die Lampen befinden sich in unserem Flur und werden ständig an- und ausgeschaltet. Wenn sie mindestens 6 Monate halten, würde ich sagen, dass sie in Ordnung sind, ansonsten werde ich die Bewertung noch einmal aktualisieren.

These turned out to be quite a bit brighter than the old style yellow lights they replaced, which was a good thing.
