Chinese copycat of Primal Gear Unlimited's Compact Folding Survival Bow
This looks exactly like Primal Gear Unlimited's Compact Folding Survival Bow, down to the logo on the side. I'm not sure where the box with the Chinese writing came from, PGU's bow is made in the USA. I'm rating this down because it seems to be a chinese replica and is more expensive that PGU sells theirs for.PGU's is one of the best survival take down bows on the market. You can configure it for left or right hand use easily and it doesn't come apart like most take down bows. Simply turn the latches, swivel the arms into place and turn the latches to lock them. String the bow and you're ready. Replaceable limbs allow you to change between 40#, 50# and 55# draw, folds down to 23" and opens to 59" with a 28" draw. It comes with a Flemish style bowstring.Three limitations of PGU's bow is the latches (over tighten them and they strip), The arrow shelf (pads just will not last on them and nobody's found a good solution) and the lack of any place to mount accessories. Despite these limitations it still consistently rates among the top three everywhere I've looked. Hopefully Amazon will also carry the PGU bow in the near future.
