KRAUS Rectangular Blue Glass Vessel Sink and Waterfall Faucet with Pop-Up Drain in Chrome, C-GVR-204-RE-10CH

Noticed in questions about sink and how to secure it to counter. This is what I did. Works great!!! To make the sink not spin or wobble before installing faucet. I put a blue painters tape down all around the sink while in place, pulled sink up, then I used about a half of tube of 30 minute drying silicon (caulk), clear smoothing it out just a little. I then put sink down into the built up of caulk. After cleaning edges and making everything look very nice you pull tape off and have a perfect line. Silicone does not dry completely clear because of thickness just a little cloudy, however it does look very nice. It adds cushion plus hold it in place and adds leak protection which is important to me because mine is on an antique stand. You can't even see it unless you look underneath. By the way I'm a 53 year old grandmother who installed it by myself. It's very easy with clear instructions.No I didn't get a free one for a review I paid for mine. I just love it.Nice quality, quick shipment and very beautiful sink. UPDATE: All our family and friends think it's beautiful. I've had the sink installed over 9 months it's very durable and thick glass. The faucet has thin glass so I worry about that but overall I can't believe how well this is made and the price I paid was GREAT. I recently was at a tile store and a similar sink by itself was $150.00 more than both pieces then a faucet would be another $150.00 that's a $300.00 savings. I

Product looks great, works well, easy to install. One problem - installation directions state not to use wrench and over tighten. I inspected the sink and found IT WAS NOT ENITRELY FLAT AT DRIN OPENING - so installing the sink properly IS IN QUESTION. Have contacted the seller to get information on how to secure sink better to the counter top. Other vesse3l sinks came with round washer, mounting ring - this sink did not. I wonder if there is a silicone ring or something that goes under the sink at the drain opening to let it seat better.

I purchased 2 of this sinks 2 years ago. They look absolutely beautiful. The only problem is that the water link through the faucet, leaving the counter wet all the time. I decided to close one sink and use the other one. I'll call the plumber again and see how we can fix it.

I was so excited when I purchased this product, in fact I bought 2-one for each sink in the master bath. I photographed the installation and posted it to my blog. That was in 2010. I received many compliments from both guests and visitors. And then this year things started going wrong. The cartridge for one of the sinks leaked. Non stop. When I called Kraus the c/s rep said I needed to prove I bought it. A photo wouldn't do. I told her from which company I purchased it from and she called. They denied it, according to her. It would take weeks to straighten it out. Really? Who is going to request a caetridge for a Kraus sink if they do not have one??? So much for the warrenty...smells like trouble has been brewing. I told her I would pay for a replacement and magically all problems disappeared. The 100% brass mushroom water stopper has now corroded and it looks horrendous. I won't even bother to go through c/s service again. IF it is 100% brass- it is so very cheap it cannot be shined and the pitting make my upscale home look like a room at the no tell motel. I paid substantially more than the price listed here, and caveat emptor, dear reader.

i recently received it and if you like blue you will be delighted with this sink. is an art piece! the color is even more beautiful than the picture, a peacock blue with some black specks. i am very happy with the looks of it. we will take a while before installing so i will update on that. it arrived on time and very well packed. i ordered 2 and one arrived the day before the other. i got it for more than half the price and amazon had the best price at the time. Update. now it is installed and I like it more. A few Comments: my husband installed this just like the instructions say. The waterfall splash is right on the center on top of the drain cap which causes some splashing. I would install it a little bit closer to the faucet so the waterfall endpoint fall right on the edge of the drain cap. I also expect some water deposits on the rim of the saucer since a little water deposits there and we have hard water.update 2: i found a solution for the hard water stains. i covered the saucer and the vessel sink with RainX like the one you use for the car windshield. after using it as instructed the water flows very fast and almost nothing is left behind on one, and on the other nothing is left behind. i also adjusted the valves under the sink to decrease the flow and it helped a lot with the splashing and some with the noise.

My colourblind husband chose this sink because he liked the shape, and I went along with it because I loved the colour. Only complaint I have is that it needs constant wiping up to look good, as any whitish soap or toothpaste residue and waterspots are very noticable. But nice quality and easy installation, so a good purchase overall.

I hope it works as great as it looks. I have designed an "aquarium themed bathroom" for someone, complete with blue-green glass tiles that match this sink, clear bubble shower curtain, aquarium wallpaper, porthole mirror, mermaid lamp. This piece is such a gorgeous iridescent blue/green/aqua color! Can't wait to finish this job and see it working. It's perfect for any water-themed bathroom!
