The disc comes in a plastic sleeve. But as with some pictures discs, the cover is the actual disc. It is my second picture disc and compared to the other I have, this one plays outstandingly well. I'm surprised of the quality! While there is a small noise, it doesn't feel at all cumbersome. If you don't mind to have it without the gatefold cover, and if you want a collectible item, this is definitely a must.

If you're buying this with the Intent of listening to it all the time I wouldn't recommend a picture disc copy I would recommend a copy that isn't the picture disc or Bad 25 but I bought this with the Intent of putting it on display along with my picture disc copies of Off The Wall and Thriller and It makes a great item to put on display for any MJ fan but amazing album and great collectors item 🙂
