Our current transport chair would not fit through the bathroom door & required transferring my husband to a walker which was not safe. Luckily I saw a review where the buyer stated this smaller chair worked for them. We were so relieved when it passed through the small door! Yes, the seat is smaller too but my 190 lb husband can sit in it .

Our 501-C non-profit bought one for a person about to have foot/leg surgery and would need help getting into narrow existing showers at home and for follow-up Doctor visits. This style is lighter to handle and fits tighter spaces than the big wheel style. Since she would always have someone with her this let us check off every need, save money and make it easier for her "assistant".Note the user will not be able to motivate themselves very well with the small wheel model. But, while these chairs are of good quality, you can still get one of each combined $ from Amazon for a total of about 50% of the price of either one or the other from your neighborhood pharmacy. All of our clan is way into 70-80's and far more familiar with wheelchairs than we ever dreamed we would be. AMAZON!

My wife had a friend come stay with us and she couldn't walk very far so my wife got this wheelchair. It worked great 👍 easy to put together and smooth riding..

I wish I had read more reviews before purchasing model TR37E-SV. The dimensions are misleading or omitted. The chair seat is narrow, 14" across, 16" deep, and the back is 16" high. And this wheelchair's handles seem high, about 3" higher than my older transport chair. There are no pockets on the back of the chair. However, the footrests are adjustable and come with "heel" straps to prevent the foot from slipping backwards. When folded, the chair fits in my 2018 Prius Prime and 2025 Hyundai Kona EV. Chair seems sturdy and should last a long time.

Yes, this chair is narrow. The description says it's narrow. the seat is 17" but the width between the arms is 14.5". This is not for a larger person. It is lightweight but heavy-duty and PERFECT for my father. I only wish that when the foot rests are not in use, they would strap back or snap back in place. They flop forward causing the chair to be wider. For now, I removed them and put them in a tote bag to carry with the chair when needed. They could also be tied back if necessary. Other than that, it's sturdy, rolls smoothly, easy to turn corners and go through a standard doorway without removing the door (which is why I wanted a narrow one). I purchased used/like new and only the box was damaged! The chair is fine!!! Cha-Ching! I love saving money!!! Very happy with it and well worth the full price if a used one isn't available. I got lucky. Medical supply stores more than double the list price!

This chair was exactly what it said in the ad and for the money, we were able to use it the whole time our mother was here visiting. Very easy on the back when needing to life into the car. Momma loved it so much she took it all the way home to S.A.
