My husband got me this calendar for Mother’ Day and so far I’m obsessed. I have ADHD, so keeping up with a paper calendar is just a struggle of mine. Having 4 kids in different sports throughout the year and all their different schedules, I already know this is going to be a game changer for me.I set each of us up with a different color, and can assign different events to a specific person, making the event on the calendar in their color. It makes it a lot easier to keep my brain more organized when looking at the calendar itself.The tasks chart and rewards are also amazing! I have been able to set up each of my kids with their own “tasks” (chores) that they can click to mark completed. It’s organized in columns by their name and assigned colors, which is super easy for them to understand. Each task in their column is set to where when they mark it complete, they gain “stars”. The amount of stars they can gain per task is completely up to you.You can switch over to the rewards tab, which is set up in the same colored columns as the tasks, and set specific reward goals. For example, we have it set to every 10 stars gained, they get $5. It shows them their progress towards their 10 star goal and when they reach that goal, they can hit “redeem” which then sends me a notification that they are redeeming their reward and it starts the goal over.I was a little worried after we got the calendar, as Amazon reviews were really good, but when I went to download the app, the app reviews were horrible. Thankfully I have not had any issues personally with the app. The only thing I will say is if you change something on the app, it does take a good minute or two to update on the calendar, but that is not a huge deal to me. I also saw a lot of people were having issues syncing their Google calendars to the device, which I can’t say one way or the other because I don’t use Google calendars.I have been able to set the “tasks”, add events and pretty much do everything on the app that I can do on the calendar. Which is really nice because if I’m away from home and a sports practice gets rescheduled, I can’t quickly change it on my phone in the moment (because I’m horrible about forgetting after 5 minutes of being told) and it will automatically change it on my calendar at home.I also haven’t tried the meal planning option, and honestly probably won’t. We are a “figure out meals in the moment” type of family. So I can’t really speak on that either.All in all, the calendar has been working great for us, the picture and quality is really good. I know there are more “name brand” digital calendars on the market with a lot more features, but if you’re not wanting to drop $300+ and just need something to better help you stay organized, I’d say this one does a pretty good job.

I decided to start fresh using the Events function where new events can be added or edited using the app or directly on the device using its touchscreen. The eCalendar can be shared with family by sending a link invitation, allowing each family member to add and manage their own events, even on the go through the app. Events can be organized into color coded profiles by family member’s Name or by categories like Grocery run, Medical/dental check-up, Family Outing, Road Trip, etc.The List function is surprisingly handy. You can add items via phone app or device, categorize them by adding and naming different lists – grocery, hardware or even by store.The Events function has replaced the physical paper calendar with manual entries that hung on the wall (see pictures) while List has replaced the dry erase board on the refrigerator door for grocery lists.The built-in photo viewer adds a warm, personal touch. It supports slideshows from pictures that can be loaded in the device using the app, which could also be arranged into folders. Photos can be viewed individually turning the calendar into a picture frame when not in use. It can also be used as a screensaver by turning on slideshow at a pre-set time that the calendar is not being actively used.It has other features that we have not even touched yet, like assigning chores and rewards which would come in handy for a family with small children, and a dinner planner. It also displays the weather with weather forecast for today and tomorrow. It can be set on sleep mode to turn off the display and wake up automatically at pre-determined times.Final Verdict:The Smart Digital Calendar is a thoughtful blend of utility and charm. I’ve been using this digital calendar for a few weeks now, and overall, I’m really impressed. The build quality is excellent. Setup was a breeze, and I really appreciated that it came with all the tools needed to mount and connect it. That made the whole process quick and easy.The companion app is another useful tool. It’s intuitive, user friendly, and syncs seamlessly with the device. Adding and updating events is super simple, and I love being able to control everything right from my phone or the calendar. It has definitely helped me stay more organized and on top of my schedule.The only thing I’ve noticed is one small annoyance: when you enable notifications for events, the calendar will stay stuck on the notification until you manually acknowledge it. Then once you acknowledge it, you have to click any other button or UI to reset the calendar back to the original state. It doesn’t automatically reset back to the current time or upcoming events on its own. It’s not a dealbreaker by any means, but it can get a little frustrating if you’re not right there to clear the notification.Overall, though, this is a fantastic device. High quality, easy to use, and very effective. Definitely recommend for anyone looking to stay organized in a more visual and accessible way.
