Do not get me wrong, the toy is not indestructible however our bulldog seems to be easier on this toy than many others we have purchased. The XL is the perfect size for him as it does prevent him from being able to really chew down on the top of the Kong as he would normally. He is an aggressive chewer however this toy does last him for quite sometime before replacement is required.

This kong toy is my pups new favorite toy. I doubt it is indestructible but it looks, feels, and plays the part! He goes through a chunk of rawhide like it is sliced deli meat. This toy has kept him occupied during rest inside and stood up to some pretty rough play outside. Fetch, tug of war, and catch all work with this fun and durable toy. To be clear, I purchased this toy with my money, this is not a sponsorship! I do think the squeaky will be the first to go, but time will tell. The fabric it's covered in is heavy duty and so far, again it has stood up to those razor shaft puppy teeth. It's perfect for a large mastiff mix to test out! I purchased the classic Kong red color for this toy and black extreme dental chew toys. Get one, you won't regret it. Enjoy the time and play with your pup!

This is called "the purple toy" in our house and is the longest lasting toy in our arsenal. He destroys within 10 minutes ever other toy. He loves them to death, and death comes quickly. Though it is the longest lasting toy, it also eventually becomes "done", ripped open and half eaten, unless we catch him first. Then, a new "purple toy" is purchased. But it is impressive how long it lasts in our house, for sure.

My labs are chewers. Regular stuffed animals get torn up in minutes. This toy is great. They can play tug of war without splitting a seam. You can throw it for fetch. Or they can sit and naw on it and it stays intact. Great product.

Over the 10+ years have been lucky enough to have a dog in my life have had many versions of these. Used to get one & it would last years. Now lasts weeks/month. Fabric is softer/less sturdy leading to ease destruction. The fabric collars that separate the two rubber balls inside & seals the 2 balls in the fabric shell tend to separate where stitched together - I have a fix for that which GREATLY increases the life of these that is simple, easy, inexpensive.Zip ties. I get whatever size is cheapest in a 20 pack. I zip tie the bottom fabric gasket & a 2nd to retain form/separate the 2 balls (smaller from larger). Any sharp edges on the zip ties can be softened or rounded to prevent injury by melting & molding sharp edges smooth in the hard plastic zip ties with a wand lighter (just practice safety). This saved one Kong that was 8 years old @ another that was days old from this seller (when both would’ve been trash-bound).These are then good for fetch, tug, shaking. For those dogs that tend to lie there & destroy (I.e. puppies/adolescent ~ 1 yr old “destructive stage”) - these will need supervision & removal to prevent shredding/eating the flappy material & help teach appropriate play.

My dog loved this toy until the squeaker broke the first week. It is very durable if you have a large dog and/or a strong chewer. We have had this toy before and it lasted a long time. Might just be a fluke with the squeaker noise but disappointed as my dog loves the noise.

My dog loves these, he loves throwing them around. He does eventually chew them apart but they are more durable than most products I have bought.

This is extremely sturdy and can cope with a determined chewer. The squeak is sooo loud though, so be prepared!

After trying many alleged tough toys, only for them to be destroyed in less than a day, I gave up and decided to try something more expensive. This monstrosity has lasted for weeks…… WEEKS!!! It is really well made, with a squeaker that sounds like the death throes of a stampede of possessed lemmings. If you enjoy watching telly, reading or having intact ear drums then it may be time to give them up. Our dog LOVES this toy and IT JUST WILL NOT DIE!!! Worth every penny for your dogs enjoyment, purchase with ear plugs for your own sanity.

Best dog toy available. Fetching, ragging and chewing safely all with a squeak to keep them interested. Durable, but not indestructible, they are the perfect all-rounder toy.
