I’m not the best crocheter but this was my first attempt at making a crochet toy / figure. I’m pleased at how he turned out. The instructions are clear and the materials are excellent quality. Everything you need is included including 2 crochet hooks. I love this very well put together kit. Just brilliant. Off to make the other one now!

This was bought as a gift and the box came damaged. This does not look good as a gift for someone. Looks like I bought a used product.

Comes with plenty of yarn and clear instructions in both booklet format and video link. Not to hard to follow and would be suitable for a beginner who likes a little bit of a challenge. Comes well packed in a plastic bag that is great for storage as well as giving as a gift. Great kit overall and a lot of fun to do.

This beginner set is like a crochet fairy godmother – it's got all the goods to kickstart your journey into the magical world of crocheting. They even toss in a bit of yarn for you to have a goof-proof practice round before diving into the real deal. The instructions seem to be on the clear side, which is great news for someone like me who's still trying to figure out how to master the basic hoop. I'm a complete crochet rookie, currently navigating the wild world of yarn and hooks. Fingers crossed, I'll make it past the practice yarn, and I promise to spill all the yarny details in an update! 🧶

Oh my goodness, I love this kit so much! I already have worked a Woobles kit, which taught me the basics, and was able to pretty easily follow the instructions on this one - although the flippers did require watching their instructional videos several times. The yarn and hook are smaller than Woobles kits, and the instructions aren't as in-depth and polished, but this is a great next level project! It even came with a small snipper tool that makes it super easy to take my crochet projects on the go in my purse. And there were enough supplies I've made several more turtles out of the extra yarn and filling (I bought extra safety eyes on Amazon). So cute!

These are so cute and come with everything you need, annd easy instructions. These fit perfect in the shadow boxes that I make for baby gifts.

Overview: This caterpillar kit was awesome! The materials were easy to work with and the tutorial videos were great. I’ve never crocheted a day in my life before and it turned out so cute!! The instructions: It may not have been in completely perfect English in the booklet and the video, but it was no problem at all and super easy to follow! The booklet is a little daunting at first if you’ve never crocheted before like me, but it recommends to start with the video and I absolutely agree because it has great tutorials and walks you through every single step of the entire project, making everything so simple. By the end, I felt like a pro. Do be warned though, it shows a couple different methods for certain stitches which is great, but when following along just pay attention to which variation they’re using and stick to one so you don’t confuse yourself. They’re pretty clear about it though. (Extra tip I learned: If it’s not looking right, check your tension. This was my biggest problem at first.) The materials: Everything was top notch. The colors were vibrant, the string was soft and strong (I undid and redid whole rows sometimes multiple times for OCD and the string held up totally fine), the tools are great and will be reused for hopefully many more projects to come! The eye pieces were great and the stuffing was good as well. There was even leftover string for all of the colors so you don’t have to worry about making bigger or smaller stitches. Overall: This was a fantastic introduction to crocheting for me! It turned out so perfect, soft and squishy and warm and just so dang cute. I honestly didn’t expect how much I would love it. It would make a great gift for a kid or someone who’s having a baby. So, I highly recommend, you can tell the care and attention put into every piece of this product, and I would absolutely buy from them again. I’ve got the crochet bug now!

This is cute but not as beginner friendly as I thought. It was a bit of a struggle. It came with everything you would need which was nice .

Im still not done, but the video is easy to follow, i will admit knowing some of the basic knowledge of crocheting helps also the video needs to be watched in order to create the turtle, following the book alone will not give you accurate results. The string does separate into small strands but if you just hold it with good grip you can manage through it, it could be better but its workable and the results come out nice and solid with pretty colors in the end which is what matters. My son loves the turtle now i just need to work on the other two 💗✨🐢🐢
