I usually get this brand at Costco for the hot & spicy and Jack Links pepper. So when I saw this on sale, I jumped on it. The quality is actually better than JL. Good amount of pepper and the meat is in the middle. Some on the harder side, some more chewy depending on how much fat on each piece. I honestly love it overall.....as for someone eating beef jerky for decades, there is no way you get a all perfect bag of jerky....so this brand is above and beyond for me.

This jerky is tender with perfect flavor. The only issue is trying not to eat it all in one day. It is one of the best jerkies out there and is perfectly peppered. I share it with my son, and we would love to get it more often, but the cost makes it more of a once-a-month treat. Best tasting jerky out there.

Old Trapper peppered beef jerky is a high-quality, chewy snack. It is not moist, and it has the right amount of seasoning.

The pepper flavor is strong, but not over powering. The texture is classic chewy, but moist. Good clean Jerky. I will be buying again.

What a delicious snack. Not too dry lots of taste and wish it was a little less expensive and then I would try all flavors. I lovvved the pepper flavor and would grab a few every time I passed the bag. Healthy mouthwatering and highly recommend.
