Q: can one remote control two outlets?

One remote can control only one outlet. But you can control one outlet with several remotes. Any more question, please feel free to contact us via consumer@loratap.com

Q: Would I be able to stick some 3M tape to the backside of the mount for easy demounting without ruining the wall?

Yes. I have three units and all have tape and magnets attached. But if you use the 3M tape which can be removed from surfaces without damage you’d achieve your desired objective. Hope this helps.

Q: Can i use one set for one outlet and then another set for a different outlet and not have them trigger both?

of course, for each kit, the remote switch and the outlet are already paired. Several kits can work in the same room without interference. Any more questions, please feel free to contact us via consumer@loratap.com

Q: How long does the battery last?

I had to change the battery after about 6 months. It has since been about 10 months, and still going strong. It’s used often, as it’s the switch in our second bathroom.
