DC Comics DBG: Crossover Pack 7 - New Gods

Short and Sweet:The Invasion mechanic is a *LOT* of fun, and you get to play as the New Gods.The DC Deck Building Game Expansions continue to delight :)

Me and my friends found this easy to understand how to play and very enjoyable with just one of the base sets or even when we started integrating the expansion packs! Very versatile and has a lot of freedom in being able to custom the game you want with your favorite cards.Simple base system for beginners and with each expansion pack it adds a new optional gameplay mode! You can play the same way or you can change game modes, you can do versus with friends, or fight against the campaign, or team up with friends against other friends or co-op in the campaign story. There's so much to enjoy here, and the best part is that you could just buy any of the base sets and still just enjoy that without needing to get any other expansions.Will be playing this with my groups of friends for many years to come. Looking forward to the new Dark Nights: Metal expansion coming this year (2020) too! Also shows there's a lot of support from the creators and fans along the years. Hope they keep adding more expansions and base sets etc.!

Pros:* The new homeworld bosses is a refreshing change to fight vs the regular super villains/super heroes* Most of the Oversized sper heroes and super villains are quite powerful* The Apokolips/ New genesis theme with its heroes and villains is well captured in this crossover pack* Protector cards add a nice addition to this planetary themed conquestCons* 2 or 4 players needed as the homeworld team is split into 2 factions and the teams must be even.* Due to the many crossover packs , this being #7 people might have lost interest in the card game.Bottom line: It is a great game. I would recommend it as your 2nd purchase as far as crossovers goes. A lot better over sized heroes and supervillains plus regular game cards that can be used without having the home world cards as bosses to defeat. To make the game enjoyable

Nice addition to the game.

Our family loves to play DC deck building and this is a great addition. It adds another aspect of play that’s different but very enjoyable. Still allows for strategy and adds a lot of new cards to help keep things fresh every time you play.

Works perfectly with my other DC deck building core sets.
