Is the product waterproof/water resistant?

This bec is water proof. But needs to be rinsed with distilled water after used in water. I always take a 1 inch by 3 inch piece of double thick heat shrink after confirming its working. The heat shrink i like has a glue to the inside. Its like $10 for 4 feet here on Amazon. I heat shrink over the entire piece. I also do the same for my additional compasitors.

Is there a pinout diagram? What are the 5 output wires?

Yes there is a pinout diagram in the package. But there is only four output wires. The big red and black ones are to plug in the battery pack to power the device. The two others are power output to plug into one or two receivers you have. There is two power output to give a more constant current to receivers. You have the same voltage on both.

How hard is it to program 7.4V output? I dont have castle link 2 or otherwise yet

Castle Link, programming card for use without computer, castle link usb connector and castle link software make these products the best and easiest to use, and set the bar for quality ease of use over cheap options. If you use one model aircraft that you have time and investment in this is not an area to be cheap.

CC BEC (Battery Eliminator Circuit) is a small device that eliminates the need for a receiver battery. It draws voltage from the motor batteries and drops it to a voltage level that is suitable for your receiver and servos. This is needed in applications which use high power servos, where an ESC (Electronic Speed Control) does not have an internal BEC, or the existing BEC is inadequate
