A is for Apple (Smart Kids Trace-and-Flip) Board book – Picture Book, September 1, 2011

My boy is 1 year and 10mos. He can say the abcs pretty well now. Every now and then he mixes up his letters but doing a good job. This book is great in asking him to read the letters to me and as soon as he starts practicing his pencil work, I hope to use this book so he can run his fingers along each letter.

アルファベットを教えるため、子どもが未就学の時に購入。大文字と小文字が書いてあり、指でなぞりやすいのが良い。小学生になってからは、phonicsの学習に使っていて、長く使える本です。

Great little hardbook to teachlittlies how to write and read the alphabet, plus the cute pictures are an extra interestfor them to learn.

可愛い。アルファベット1つにつき、ベーシックな2単語。それぞれ書き順が書いてあるところが良い！アルファベットの部分は少し凹んでいて、指でなぞりやすくなっているところも良い。ボードブックで頑丈だけど、内部のめくるところは子どもが雑に触ると破れそう。

大文字には溝があり、手指を使って書き順を覚えられます。各アルファベットから始まる「Cat」、「Elephant」の単語は、YouTube等で紹介されているABCフォニックスの歌動画と内容が7割程一緒なため、音声ペンなどで色々と工夫すればおもちゃとして遊びながら読んでくれそうです。

I like it very much.

My child learned a lot of vocabulary in this book because there are two things in 1 letter. It is durable because all pages are cardboard thick. But the child can easily tear the flips I glued it back easily.

まだ1歳半の子なので言葉も少しですが知っているものがあると声に出して教えてくれてしかけも楽しそうにめくっています！
