MG Chemicals 8310A Conformal Coating Stripper - Non Drip Gel Type, 850mL Can

This is the strangest stripper I've ever used. But it works great! It will not strip anything but powder coated material. I redid an iron door that had been touched up with solvent based paint. The stripper did not do anything to the solvent based paint but stripped everything else. Most strippers take off everything indiscriminately. The gel isn't like most stripper gels either. It is more the consistency of paint, I'm sure the liquid version is more like water. Easily brushed and easily scraped off.

Acts like most paint removers used to as effective products in California have been banned. On carbonized materials most goo is disolved leaving calky carbon which is much easier to remove. Stubborn finishes require repeat applications. This is a thin liquid resembling warm syrup upon application. A little pricey for a 850mL.

Must have product for PCB board repair to clean conformal coats no damage

Didn't work on the powder coating I have. It behaved like regular paint stripper and didn't do anything.
