Burris Droptine Binoculars, Versatile Lightweight Performance Hunting Optics

Thanks for the great product. It's worth the money, including the housing, glass, extra neck strap, and case. It feels a bit heavy in hand, but you absolutely have control over it.

If these are lightweight, I would hate to see heavy weight ones. They are heavier than any other binoculars that we have, including my image stabilizer ones that have several batteries in them. I tried to focus at about 20 feet and have the focus cranked all the way to one side and it is barely in focus. The image is like looking through a telescope, if you move slightly, the image disappears. Focusing knob has no tread on it and you have to press it pretty hard so it’s very hard to focus. I never did figure out how to focus one eye versus the other, but it didn’t matter because the rest of it is useless to me. I also never quite got the two eyes working at the same time. It is adjustable, but somehow I could never quite get it so I was holding it at exactly the right angle and had it adjusted so I could seeing fully out of both eyes. I did give it three stars because if this is what you’re looking for, maybe it works for you. While I couldn’t quite get the image right for me, maybe it would work for you, seems quality enough, and seems very rugged.

For the money, you can't beat them! Very clear and easy to focus. Wait is not an issue. Good product.

Frankly, I looked at a lot of these prior to deciding to buy a Burris brand. The design caught my eyes... what a cool design. Then I started to read reviews and compare them to other well-known brand. Okay I decided to take the leap and purchase them. No regrets at all. Love these.

Quite heavy and hard to avoid seeing black edges, compared to other binoculars in the same price range. Also, disappointingly, heavily promotes hunting. So has a poor conservation association related to maiming and killing animals.
