I bought this for my two year old granddaughter's birthday. I had noticed that she liked playing with a similar building set at her preschool. She absolutely loves the set and her seven year old sister loves it too. The quality is very good and the price was very reasonable. Having the plastic case is an extra bonus to help keep the set pieces together.

I remembered having Bristle Blocks as a child and saw them in store on a rescent trip, not realizing they were still being made! I bought these as a Christmas gift for my 2 year old nephew and he LOVES them! I see him once a week and its been months now, and it's still a favorite go-to for him and we play together! SO MUCH FUN!

My niece and I enjoyed playing with the bristle blocks. It took a moment or two to figure out odd number bristles to even number bristles for straight connections and even to even for offset connections. This 85 piece set has a good selection of shapes including working wheels and a doll family. Promotes imagination, and some applied physics.

For kids ages 2 -10, but even adults like playing with them because the bristles allow you to combine pieces any way you like! Nothing restricts the assembly! And.... the wheels really turn!! They are safer than Legos because the pieces are much larger... And they don't hurt as much when you step on them in your bare feet! ;)

I bought this for my 4 year old as one of his Christmas presents. I found it more versatile than Legos because the creations have more infinite possibilities, you can attach them from every angle and create just about anything! I only wish it came with more, I'll definitely be considering buying another set, although with this one we can create one very complex airplane and car at the same time, etcEverything fits well in its carrying case, which is a huge plus because I hate finding lost blocks all over the place, plus we can take it with us anywhere, so the carrying case is awesome. As far as age goes my 4 year old and 3 year old love it! And the pieces are not small enough that my 8 month old will choke or something if he encounters it while crawling around, plus he likes them too! Another plus is the Battat website says all their toys are BPA free, so I'm really hoping this one is as well.Overall a great buy, sturdy, creative, versatile, imaginative, and parent friendly!

I bought this product after my grandchildren, age 2 1/2, enjoyed playing with a set that their dad enjoyed as a child. This product has more variety, brighter colors, soft flexible bristles, people and wheels which they were delighted with. My grandson built "trucks" and my granddaughter built "boats". Dad even got into the act helping them build, do we ever really outgrow these childhood pleasures! When they received the blocks, they played with them for days and I know it will be fun for them for years to come. And the container is well built and great for collecting all the pieces. The blocks are easy for little ones to handle and attach to each other and the creativity they discover about their projects make them giggle. A great product that I approved of 35 years ago and still do.

These blocks are great because they are easier for my 21-month old to put together than Legos. The box that they come in is still more interesting to him, but he also spends a lot of time chewing on the blocks and throwing them, which means I can take a few minutes out of my day to write a review about them while he is thus occupied. One thing to note, it is not advisable to step on one of these Bristle Blocks in the middle of the night when you are groggy as it feels like you are stepping on a hedgehog and loud screams will ensue.

My 4 year old grandson loves this set. He is completely enamored with cars, trucks, anything on wheels...got this for his birthday to give him yet another "slant" on the theme.What I liked about it was the fact that it includes other pieces, so the child can play a complete game of his own creation, using characters, building a brand new "never before seen" car or truck that only exists in his imagination. He could also get this from any Lego set (and believe me, he certainly has a lot of those!), but this one can only add to his repertoire...and there is nothing wrong with that!!
