This DVD player is perfect for my needs. I needed a DVD player to replace current model that died. I did not need Blu-ray since this is only used to play older collection of discs. Works and sounds great. Issues with playing discs from other regions. Hope tech support resolves. Will update when something is resolved.

User error. Sorry for the earlier bad review.I needed to use the included HDMI cable to hook it to my tv. The other cord included didn't work for my tv. Only complaint is directions could have been better. Not everyone understands how these things work. The whole either/or cord to use was not clear.

I got this because I accidentally bought a DVD that doesn't play in US residency coded DVD players. It works perfectly and I love that it has both AV and HDMI.I'd like to add, after having this DVD player for a while now and using it frequently, the biggest issue I have with it is the remote. I have to make sure I'm not too far or at too much of an angle for it to work.

Purchased this item as a gift and just found out that it will not play blueray discs which is the reason for buying it. Also now I am stuck with the product as I only had 30 days to return it, yet because of shipping problems we are encouraged to purchase early. I am in a loose, loose situation. When I went online and chatted with the company, and explained to them that once I put the disk in the device it continually read no disk, all they could suggest was to clean the disk. They never mentioned once that blueray disks wouldn't play on this device. According to the info given, it is supposed to be used to play blueray in all regions. Wasted money for sure.

The media could not be loaded. The DB Power VCR is very user-friendly to connect with my projector and TV. My teenager can use the VCR to play his DVDs without my supervision. It is very light weight to travel with for vacations in hotels and outside events (that have power outside).

Poor quality on Remote might be cheap batteries that came with it. Also you have to face remote directly at the dvd or else it wont work.

It's a good working DVD Player! My children love it and use it almost every day AND night! I'd rate this a good 8/10! I would buy it again if needed for other family members.

What can I say? It's an inexpensive dvd player. Very basic functions, but it works just fine. GOOD VALUE FOR THE MONEY. I don't know if I would rely on it for everyday use, but it is adequate for occasional classroom use.Will report if any future issues.
