Bought this in America in May and now need to get it over here as it’s superb coffee.

It's a nice blend that smells and tastes delicious. It's much more affordable than a lot of the other coffees out there and still a good quality. We've purchased this a couple of times and will continue to use it. Definitely recommend!

Typically, I expect a breakfast blend to be smooth, and a medium roast to have hints of nuts and chocolate. It's difficult to write a review saying "I didn't like the flavor" because flavor is subjective, but I will do my best to describe the flavor so others know what to expect. New England Breakfast Blend Medium Roast is very citrusy. The initial impression is acidic and, in my opinion, too sharp. I tried brewing a few pots and used varying methods to see if I had made an error, but they turned out the same each time. Finally, I started adding cinnamon to the grounds: that's when I felt the coffee was "right" and enjoyable for a breakfast cup. The cinnamon added depth and richness, which is what I feel this blend is really missing. Here are some positives I did find about this product: the value. This is a great value per ounce, especially with the price of coffee rising. The color. My expectation for medium roast is a caramel color which this coffee matches. If you prefer coffee that is nearly tangy in its citrus notes, this would be perfect for you.

This New England Coffee Breakfast Blend is one of the more accurate medium roast options I’ve tried. The blend tastes balanced and straightforward, without drifting too light or unexpectedly dark. Compared to other medium blends, the acidity is noticeably lower, which makes it easier to drink first thing in the morning and better for overall enjoyment. Brewing performance is consistent, and it seems forgiving with water content. Whether I measure precisely or add a little extra water, the flavor still comes through clean without tasting thin or overly bitter. The roast level feels intentional and even, not flat or burnt, which helps keep the cup smooth rather than sharp. The appearance of the grounds is uniform and fresh looking, and the brewed coffee has a nice rich color that matches the flavor profile. Caffein content feels moderate and appropriate for a breakfast coffee, enough to wake you up without feeling jittery. Overall, this is a solid, reliable blend that delivers easy enjoyment if you want a true medium roast that stays smooth and low on acidity.
