Q: do i need new wires for these? like new connectors? or can i use the old ones?

I used the old wires mine were in good shape I put new plugs and coils in everything is running great

Q: Did anyone see a noticeable increase in Mpg's after replacing these?.(compared do when you didn't have a misfire)

We did not check the miles per gallon when the 1 cylinder was not firing, we wanted t fix it. The dead cylinder will still have gas injected or drawn in, this gas will not add to the engine power, the 3 working cylinders will not move the car as well as 4. Since the gas is going through the engine without burning, it is not adding power, it is wasted., therefore the mpg is always lower with dead cylinders. There are 8 cylinder trucks designed to run on 6 or 4 cyl's when power demand is low, they are designed to shut of the fuel injectors at the specific cylinders.
