Correct part, easy install, corrected problem.

Cold water wouldn't shut off during the washing cycle. Replacing the valve took about 10 min. Very easy and intuitive. The washing machine is working again as designed. Hope to get another 14 years out of it. LOL.

It fixed the problem for a washer that was filling up with water after the completion of a load. There was a leak in the cold water intake valve. No issues since replacement. The replacement on a Vision 300 series is very easy and took 15 min.

Replacement dropped right in. If this unit fails to work or starts leaking at any point, I'll update this review. Appears to be an exact replacement for Bosch part number 00422244 How to install 1. Unplug electrical supply 2. Turn off water supply line 3. Remove the two T20 torx screws from top cover 4. Slide top cover towards back of machine and remove 5. Disconnect cold water line (catch excess water) 6. Disconnect interior water distribution hoses (catch excess water with a rag) 7. Remove the interior electric connector on the valve (push down on tab and slide connector out) 8. Remove valve (raise tab on outside of machine and slide valve in direction of tab. See video) Before connecting the cold water line, make sure the threads and seals are clear of debris. Before returning the washing machine into position, run a cycle and check for leaks.

This fit a Bosch Vision Series 500 DLX clothes washer; model WFVC5400UC/20 puchased 2/2010. This is the cold water inlet value. The previous one was leaking. I also replaced the hot water value since I was already into taking apart the washer. Also, as a suggestion, you should replace the hot and cold water hoses connecting to your house water system at the same time especially if you have the washer and dryer stacked. Those lines will go bad over time and leak, usually when you are on vacation.
