Winsor & Newton drawing inks have been used by illustrators and designers who take color brilliance most important. It delivers amazing color clarity and transparency. The ink can be used directly from the bottle, but can be diluted with water for a lighter tint or more transparent. In such cases, please use distilled water to avoid the separation of the dye and solution. It also has a glossy finish when applied with a thick coating. Drawing inks contain dyes and may fade when exposed to light. If your artwork is exposed to light, please do not use it. Colors can be mixed but use a small amount of gold and silver to avoid the ink too dark when mixing.
