One Set: 4 Full-size 4/4 Violin Fine Tuners

These Violin Fine Tuners work exceptionally well.Dialing in the Violin is very easily accomplished with these. They are very smooth, and allow one whole octave in either direction.Installation was a breeze!!!

The tuners were too short for my full sized violin. I only got about 1/4 of the adjustment range because the balls on the string would hit the tailpiece. Also they were quite buzzy, even when installed correctly and secured tightly, particularly on the A and D strings.

My beginner 4/4 violin had only a fine tuner on the E string, and it was extremely difficult to dial in the other strings to perfection, so I ordered these fine tuners for that purpose. Not only are they extremely easy to install, but I was able to tune all my strings perfectly with ease. I have used them for a few days now, and tuning the violin out of the case is MUCH faster than before - I am saving many minutes of time throughout each practice session because of these tuners. The reason I gave them only 4 stars instead of 5 is that the black paint on the top of one of the nuts was slightly chipped, and there is very limited room to place the end of the string up against the tailpiece. I had to turn them sideways to get them to fit properly. Great product however and worth every penny.

I recently purchased a used violin from a music shop. The violin was in a violent state when I got it. Filthy/dull strings, on of the cheapest bows you've ever held in your hand, bent bridge. It had one flimsy fine tuner on the E string, but it was difficult to turn. I have since polished the heck out of the violin, put these fine tuners on all 4 strings (since I have never before played the violin), replaced the strings, put compound on the tuning pegs, and purchased a new bow, albeit a cheap one, but this instrument sounds, literally 200% better. These fine tuners make the tuning such a breeze for me as the tuning pegs are ridiculously unpredictable. They are solid and I think the gold looks very attractive.

I had to bend the tuner arm the ball of the string fits, to lengthen it slightly to properly fit the string. It wasn’t a big deal but you would not want to aggressive when bending. Also the slots for the strings were too narrow for the stings requiring me to spread the openings.

Just follow the instruction on Youtube, it is very easy to install. Install in the order of E, A, D, G strings, one at a time. Very good quality material. These four fine tuners together with a Clip-on Chromatic Digital Fine Tuner make the violin in accurate tunes at all times. I got both the fine tuner set and the digital cllip-on from Amazon. Then I bought many sets from ebay (at 1/4 price) as gifts to my friends of my violin class. I wish I had them years ago.
