A good budget light
While not a fancy multi function flashlight, this does the job. It feels good in the hand and while a little on the big side its oval shape allows it to fit nicely in the pocket. It takes two double A batteries and is plenty bright enough. A nice budget flashlight

Great surprise
This was a pleasant surprise. Not only does it shine straight ahead like other flashlights but with a push of a button it also has a light shining down to the ground, another click and both lights are on together. Very useful.!! The flash light is coated in silicon making it very easy to grip. I have 3 now. One for my purse, the car and next to my bed.

Good little light for what I use it for.
The reason I gave it a four-star instead of a five is because when my order arrived, the battery cover would just fall off and not stay on the light. I decided to return it. I was told they would send me a new one and they just keep or throw away the other one the new one arrived And worked perfectly. I now have six of these lights in action one of them. The battery cover is held on with duct tape. Oh well free light. I put one of these in every family member’s car in case they need it for an emergency or to find something. I also wish they still made the red and green floodlights for when working in vehicle at night.

A great pocket utility light.
Light , and clicks on and off properly. Might not stand up to being thrown a long way. But this one is a very useful little light. -cam-

This may have been okay when it was released 8 years ago
I wish I had spent a bit more time researching this product because then I would have known:[1] This was released in 2009 and performs as expected for 8-year old technology and there are much better products out there for not much more (sometimes less money). For example the Nitecore Thumb Tiltable LED Worklight is a far more useful product with a 120 degree adjustable head, USB rechargeable battery, multiple modes including High (85 lumens // 45 minutes), Medium (30 lumens // 2 hours 15 minutes) and low (2 lumens // 22 hours), also has a red LED. It's also much smaller at (3" x 1" x 0.6") while weight less than an ounce. Another option but more much expensive ($30) is the Streamlight Dualie 2AA Multifunction Flaslight which is a true professional light.[2] 60 lumens out the front + 25 lumens out the side = 85 lumens together. Yet they claim 90 lumens total. The difference between 85 and 90 lumens is not a big deal. However, this tells me the company is either dishonest or doesn't pay attention to details important to its consumers and as a result I worry about the validity of their warranty and I also wouldn't go near their intrinsically safe products in a critical safety environment.[3] This product is not designed for professional use at all. For one, it can't be used in any sort of drizzle much less rain. The first thing I noticed when I opened the package was the gap between the battery cover and the housing; I could see directly into the battery compartment. I had to put it away the second it started drizzling because moisture would have easily penetrated the light. The second issue with its durability was found when I opened the battery compartment, I could see the metal plate on which the batteries rest had been jammed between the housing and tiny plastic retainer tabs. Portions of the retainers were already white indicating stress fractures from the manufacturing process. Cheaply made product that won't hold up with serious use.[4] Beam tint from the front flashlight is decent tint but has a terribly uneven beam pattern, with holes in the center hotspot and an uneven halo around it. It reminded me of an old incandescent cheapie I had growing up. It's probably fine from a functional standpoint. However, the main draw of this light is the side LEDs. The tint from those are a blue-purple that are characteristic of the cheapest LEDs available. I don't care if they're cheap if they are functional but with these everything was a monotone blue/purple washout. Combine the side and the front flashlight and you have decent tint ahead of you contrasted with washed out colors illuminated by the side lights and this was not very functional even for walking a dog.
