Having trouble connecting since getting camera and installing.. if Wifi is not connected doesn’t work and doesn’t want to read the SD card I use! Terrible quality

As inexpensive as these security cameras have become it’s fair to guess which ones will give you the security you’re looking for. Which one could give you the peace of knowing it’s the right first choice to make in adding one to your room, your home, your school dorm, and more!What a supper surprise it was to unbox this gem. Yes I’m going there. It took all of maybe 15 minutes to slow down and do it right. Download the app. Read the instruction(totes concise and easily followed) link it to my network and secure its setup to show me that anyone can do it!I was able to correctly link it to my router securely after two tries as yeah I forgot the password but, then I just rock-skipped through all the bells and whistles to soon discover that indeed it is a 4K display that has an app so efficient and easy to use with an interface that I can still one day later ‘play’ and interact with to find what settings will work best for me. I love the sound setting and yes we can talk to our pets and i love watching them respond to my voice! We already are playing a new game of “find the one that feeds you?”In the box came all the correct accessories smartly packed like the charger easy to connect and appears to have a long standby life, a magnetic stand that can be used on any surface that has a swivel socket(you can still just place the camera without it up high on a shelf or low on a coffee table, your choice) plus you can also affix an included small metal plate with screws to a surface like a wall or ceiling if you choose for said magnet adherence. The app is more detailed than I expected and it was great that I had an old micro SD card from my old Sony PSP in 4G and one in 5G that I plugged into the back of the camera and it recorded all night when any movement was detected. Screen shots saved right to the card and even some small video snippets. I chose not to sign up for the their cloud service as this is an option that it asks if I “want to think about it” with no pressure. Best part is I can watch the display in regular light and low light actions from where I placed the cam so easily on my Pixel 8 Pro …and the captures and video are incredibly better than I expected!This is the right choice for me for my first inexpensive CAM and the app will let me add other ones in the future if I choose.

Picture show a small cam but you get it it much bigger..and i dont like the the light stay on and is noticeable..Its good for if you plan on to set it where people can see it but if you want it as a hidden cam then its not good for it

The black wireless indoor security camera I recently installed is a great addition to my growing smart home. I was also able to easily install it as well as use the companion app to set it up. Now that it is set up, I find the different motion detection modes and alerts useful. It's good quality for the price but does have some downsides. The biggest drawback is the short power cable, and I'm disappointed that it lacks a USB-C port. These issues are relatively minor, though, so if you need a good security camera for your home, I recommend checking this one out if you're on a budget.

Some people want cameras as a visual deterrent and others want them to be invisible. This is more toward the invisible side, but it's not what I'd call a "spy" camera or "nanny" camera. It's not overt, and if you use it without the stand, it's just a little black cube that doesn't draw attention. It's not like a nanny cam where it's disguised as something else, but it does easily blend into its surroundings. You can even turn the status light off.On to the function. It works quite well, and is very easy to set up. It took all of five minutes to install the app, link the camera and start recording. I put in a 64gb card because I don't want to pay of cloud storage. You can still access the videos remotely from the SD storage and use the live view. The only reason you'll want cloud storage is in case you want more space, or if you want to store the media in a location that can be taken with the camera. I ordered this to record my pets, so no risk of them stealing the card/camera to hide anything. If you're actually using it as nanny cam, you'll probably want the remote storage.The video quality is pretty good. You're not going to be shooting film quality footage, but it's definitely good enough to see what's going on in your house and/or catch someone doing things they shouldn't be. The night vision is the standard black/gray but also produces a decent picture. The audio is similar quality. It's not a high quality sound system, but you can hear what's going on or being said.For a low cost camera, it's surprising. It performs beyond it's price range and functions like a more expensive option. Not a high end model by any means, but not bottom of the barrel either.
