Aji Mango Chile Heirloom Pepper Premium Seed Packet

I bought these too late in the season for planting in zone 8A, but I was so excited about them that I tried anyway. I've never seen a pepper plant so productive and cold hardy. Despite me planting these so late in the season, I'm still getting a harvest from them -- at the end of November, and these plants are not showing any stress at all from the cold nights, and still enjoy the warmer days. I'm very happy with them. They're a little harder to germinate than other peppers I've planted, so use a covered, bottom watered seed tray on a heating mat with Coco coir. They're plenty hot enough for me. Eating one whole fresh pepper, I experienced about 20 minutes of respectable heat without using a chaser.

I have 3 plants in my garden because I wasn't sure on longevity and output living in upstate NY with short growing season. All 3 plants have produced several hundred each and there's still over a month left to grow.Very sweet tasty flavor with a nice kick of heat. Definitely hotter than a cayenne. I add these to my hot sauce for the sweet mild flavor to tame down the hotter peppers.

not one seed came up. tried to contact company, haven’t heard a word. stay away from these people

Planted 3 seeds and 2 sprouted so I didn’t have any issues with germination. Just got it for the current growing season so I can’t say yet how well it fruits or tastes.

I had high hopes for these seeds but was disappointed when only half germinated. One came out with one leaf and the other with no leaves, both struggling to survive. Let’s hope the other 3 with two leaves continue to grow.

I recieved an empty envelope containing no seeds, i left the seller feedback about it after amazon had issued me a refund. They responded and have sent me a replacement package in addition to my refund.Most of their seeds i have planted are already starting to sprout and its only been a few days, definitely quality products

Seeds germinated well and grew into 5 foot bushy plants with arching branches heavily laden with pods. The ripe 3 inch pods were very sweet and fruity. The flavor is hard to describe but a bit tropical and mango is a good of a comparison as any. Green or under-ripe pods can have some cilantro-like soapiness so waiting until they are fully ripe is best.

I started these late, grew them entirely indoors (on a sun porch in northwest PA), did not take the best care of the plants, yet I still got a huge crop of delicious little peppers. Made an excellent fermented hot sauce. Nice heat, fruity flavor, not too intense. Heat does not linger. Really nice in a fruit salsa. Dehydrated and ground really zings up a salad dressing or spices up some mayo for since unique sushi.
