GREAT!
Love these.p for scrapbooking. I have the long ones and wished they made them smaller. And here they are. So much easier to handle.

great tool
Works as described. I haven't had any issues with it catching the edge my card stock. The one thing I was impressed with is that there is a small metal piece that is attached to the cutting edge so that my knife runs smoothly and doesn't "catch" on the plastic.

I think this tool is going to be very useful for making perfect layering mats for my cards and scrapbooking pages. No more measuring. Simple concept, but very helpful.

Useful new tool for cardmakers
These tools are easy to use and help w/any card-making project. I like that they are shorter than the original "layers" but long enough for card making. The numbers are small but dark and easily read. Right now they are my 'go to" tool for cutting cards and matting projects.

I am delighted with this product
I am delighted with this product. My problem has been centering a layer on top of another. It's easy to cut accurate layers but I could just not get the top layer centered. With this product you apply the top layer and then use the rulers to cut around the piece. I read that some had trouble catching the edge of the ruler on their paper. I resolved this with a piece of tape by post-it. It comes in one inch width. It is bright blue and bright yellow. It does not leave a residue on paper or photographs. By applying it right along the edge of the top layer of paper it gives just enough lift to catch the ruler firmly so you get perfect cuts every time. A nice sharp xacto blade helps too. Really pleased with the pictures I have matted today.

Not all it is cracked up to be.
This doesn't seem to work for me. Maybe my card stock is too thin, but the edge doesn't catch. I tried several times with different papers, but no luck. I'll just stick to my stitched rectangle dies for my layers.

Over rated.
Not foolproof. Does nothing more than a rotary cutter and a good rule will do.

Absolute genius
This is a brilliant idea. For those who struggle with lining up mats, lay your picture down, select the width border, snap into place and use your exacto knife for perfect borders. Fair warning...it takes practice. You have to have a very steady hand and keep the blade exactly on the edge. A few of the lines/settings also seem not to "catch" the lip of the paper, but when this works it's genius. I revised this down to a four because the issue of it not catching has continued to be problematic. Honestly, all they had to do what make the channel to catch the paper deeper. Great idea but needs to be better executed.
