VELO Wide Channel Saddle - Black

This is a great seat, am now able to cycle again, currently building up my mileage whilst not aggravating my prorate, great value.

This is the most comfortable saddle I have ever used. I stupidly believed the wider the saddle the more comfortable it would be. I started developing a sore so after some research I was recommended this saddle. The sore has gone and I'm now enjoying riding far more.

I recently bought a bike and the seat was awful. So uncomfortable. could not sit down for 1 minute before it started hurting so much. So i bought this replacement. This was great! Did the job! now I can ride sitting down and it doesn't hurt my bottom. To be fair its really good, but the price is a bit much for it. I guess you get what you pay for. A good buy.

A replacement saddle for my 15 year old Dawes Discovery 301, seems to fit the bill. In fact, I think it’s a near-perfect replacement and probably actually just an evolution of the original saddle.

Very good - I've tried a number of different saddles with various types of padding, but was always left with a numb feeling after a ride. This saddle really helps.

Excellent seat best I've had so far seems a bit firm when first getting but after one good ride you feel the benefits I can ride long distance comfortably without the worry of needing padded shorts

Changed the default, fairly hard seat on my indoor cycle. Now I could easily do sessions twice as long, not worrying how to place myself on that seat. Well worth if you looking for less pressure right in the middle. Mind that there's relatively more pressure on the sides using this kind of seat though. I haven't tried any other seat like this, but it's a lot better than I imagined.

If I had to put one seat on all of my mountain and road bikes for the rest of my life, it would absolutely have to be this one. While I do realize that everybody's bum is different, and seat-choosing is all about personal preference, This is a very, VERY good starting point for riders in the "I'm sort of fat, but I'm not that fat" category (IE, between 180-220 Lbs.) It has a lovely channel in the middle which doesn't really do anything for air flow, it just gives your crotch some breathing room. The padding is relatively stiff, meaning you won't droop into the seat (causing pressure in all the places you don't want it) So short of making an ass of yourself and buying an 18 inch wide Walmart seat, This is as comfy as you can get for under $200. The quality is okay for the price, I did find it was crackling around a lot after about a month. I just unscrewed the back plastic trim and put it back on and that all went away, So I'm going to assume the screws were just moving around in there. Aside from that, I haven't had any broken rails (it looks like that reviewer had his seat clamped beyond the maximum line on the rail) So don't let that put you off! Please do keep in mind that every seat is different, because every person is different. Some people say this seat sucks, simply because they have odd sit bones, or because they have no clue what to look for in a seat. Don't judge it until you try it, and don't get all angry if it's not what you need. It took me 3 tries to find this one. I really do wish I could put one of these on my vintage bike, but that would ruin the look :(

Excelente asiento, de forma increíble se elimina por completo la presión el la zona prostatica y el dolor en el trasero, muy bien acolchonado, es como traer un asiento de panadero pero sin serlo, el diseño es bastante moderno y aerodinámico y el tamańo considero el perfecto para los que no quieran el mini asiento con el que vienen muchas bicicletas. El asiento AJUSTA PERFECTO A CUALQUIER MTB incluso BMX, es incorrecta la descripción que dice que solo para bicicletas fijas, no hice ningún tipo de adaptación. Solo no me gusto que pedí el de hombre y mandaron el de mujer, lo volví a pedir a un precio mayor y entonces si me llego el de hombre ($100 pesos de diferencia, supongo estaba mal publicado) y al final me quedé con los dos para la bici de mi esposa.

I ride 1 to 2 hours a day i need to have comfort and this saddle is just what i need.
