Wilton WIL20824 8 Lb Head, 24 in. BASH Sledge Hammer

It showed up bent like a banana. I returned it and got my money back. The process was easy enough. I didn't have any hassles. But now that I'm thinking about it after the fact Wilton boasts about their sledgehammers being indestructible. They even offer you $1,000 if you can destroy one. I've heard stories about people trying to destroy them and not succeeding. Now I'm starting to wish I kept it just so I could show everyone I have a destroyed Wilton hammer. Oh well. Maybe next time.

Design is excellent along with feel. Hammers are used for railroad services.

Been loving this beater. Heavier feeling than most 8 pounders, likely due to the weight in the handle. Hits like a 10. Expensive, but worth it after you replace a few handles. No worries about breaking the head off or it coming loose when you're smashing in pins on the iron. Looses one star due to the handle being kind of slippery and requiring a tape job which I had hoped to get away from with the built in "grips".

I have had the hammer for two years and it is great but I have Noticed head to the Handle is coming loose and I don't know Who to call or email but I have other hammer from the Company and they are great
